Hillis Ahead of Vick For Madden NFL 12 Cover

According to some Darren Rovell sources, if the vote ended today, Peyton Hillis would be on the cover of Madden NFL 12. Strong rumblings around the web say, it's a wrap.

Official word comes Wednesday.

I'd venture to say that if you ask 20 random people on the street who Aaron Rodgers or Clay Matthews is they probably wouldn't know that either. If I had to guess the only players they would know is Manning, Brady and Vick. And if it wasn't for Vick being in the news for "bad things" then they wouldn't know him either.

It dont matter who is on the cover it will still sell. The ppl saying that they wont buy becuz of the player on the cover need to stop. focuse on the game because that is what will make or brake the franchise

I wonder if they're going to pull what they did with NCAA 12. Put out printable versions for everyone who participated... poor Panthers fans will be stuck with an offensive lineman as their coverboy.

Peyton Hillis shouldn't have made it past the first round, probably the worst possible cover athlete choice.....zero star power outside of Cleavland fans......smh

Thats whats so great about it.

Plus it doesn't really matter who is on the cover if the game looks great and plays great people will buy it. If it feels like the same game with the same problems(Hope not but, it's EA) the sales will continue to steadily go down and then maybe the cover might hurt sales a little bit but, not much it's still the NFL.

I voted for Hillis just for the sake of seeing if he would actually have a chance to make the cover and I'm willing to bet thousands of other people did the same. I think it's hilarious that Hillis has a great chance to make the cover. People obviously didn't vote for "star power" because, Hillis blew Rodgers out of the ball park, in fact he wasn't even there to begin with. People voted to see if a guy like Hillis could make the cover so they could lol at EA or whatever their reason was. I could throw out the "lol look at EA now...they have a dog killer on the cover" but, I'm not going to use that one because, besides that Vick has a TON of star power.

If it's true, Vick isn't just getting beat, he's getting his *** handed to him.

Can't wait to get my Peyton Hillis covered Madden 12. Not quite as cool as an Aaron Rodgers cover, but at least now I'll laugh when I pick it up.

I'm a die hard Browns fan and I'm not going to buy the game just becuase Hillis is on the cover. Conversely, I won't NOT buy it just because he's not. Whether I do or don;t buy the game will depend on if the things that have kept me from enjoying the game are remedied.

Hillis is the greatest 1,020 some odd yard rusher in the history of the NFL. When I seen him run, I thought to myself, wow.... he should be on the cover of Maddn '12.

Nice.......you've obviously mastered sarcasm....I feel the same way. Oh and I don't think Hillis deserves to be on the cover.
