Next MLB 11 The Show Title Update Will Not Require Franchise Restart (Date TBD)

Figured it would be better to post some news about this. After the next title update is live (date is still TBD), you will not need to restart your franchise.

It is updated to version 4. OSFM Spring Training V4. User name Knight165.

There will be an "opening day" one coming once minor leagues start. So lineups, etc can be set. But you can always do it yourself with the set out now.

thank you..is there a easy to way search for that user?

I found one. It says Knights+AAA and AA fixed

Just make sure the username is Knight165, is all.

Or HustlinOwl as he took the roster and stripped it down to 25 so the CPU wouldnt make lineup changes after spring training since there was no need to demote anyone.

what bout if you're not doing a franchise, but you are in a season? Will you have to restart then?

RTTS, Season and all that use the same logic for trading etc.

Does this result in teams not filling in their 40-man roster, so they're leaving people unprotected come the Rule 5 draft?

You have to manually add the 15 players to the 40 man for the teams.

in the past this has not been the complete list, believe deadline for roster update is Thursday's so those previously not apart of the players union and have not had an appearance so Thursday but Friday, sat or sun will have to wait until the 11th set.

The franchise bug IS the free agent issue.

Is this going to fix the 2014 glitch? Where all teams dont spend money in free agency and star players sign a 1 year 3 million dollar deal. Then we the season starts free agency has all stars on it and no one signs them. Please let me know because this is what bugs me about franchise.

Question, so if I do an old fashioned single team fantasy draft franchise the upcoming patch will fix the offseason issues so I thus don't have to do 30 team control......while this question may sound redundant, I ask it because you can't do an effective fantasy draft controlling a bunch of teams
