Lol, 5 months til release and people are pissed we didn't get basically a full gameplay vid.

It's called a teaser for a reason.

Playbooks? 0_o

What was up with the 10 sec clip zoomed in on the guys feet? Really? That was just plain stupid!
Grass is being torn up if you look closely.

Was there a meter on the field goals?

Also looks like tendencies are next to Tomlinson and Hot and Cold streaks are next to Ray Rice.

A custom cam outside the stadium?

Only good thing I see from that is a new field goal cam=harder FGs
And the playboys. But just like always with Madden if it really is a Hot/Cold streak it'll be easy ways around it.

Cool overhead shot of Lambeau. Must be tied into presentation. The symbol next to Ray Rice goes from a flame to a snow flake, assuming this is something to do with the dynamic player performance. Stadium entrances and grass are a nice touch. The LT screen has me scratching my head though. Not sure what tuck and run and scrambling have to do with a RB?

You guys should work for CSI with all the theories and breaking down of the video.

This second video down on the '1' is Player Logic, which I'm really surprise they put in. I'm really excited for that, though I'm a little disappointed that their weren't any offline franchise things in this video. Spectator mode is something I could care less about because I control every team and play every game.

Did you not notice that the feet were planting in the turf rather than skating on top of it. I am not a madden fan by any stretch but that was very nice to see and gives me a slight hope for this year.

It was filled with camera flashes, more likely just Super Bowl presentation imo.

Not sure what the FG kickers were supposed to be showing.
Custom playbooks.
True Dat Nation looked like an online franchise w/ chat room
Walter Payton was a veteran MUT card I think
Ray Rice showing a hot/cold streak, so dynamic player performance
Tomlinson showing player tendancies I think
Surprise onside kick
Overhead view maybe of Super Bowl/playoff presentation, all the camera flashes.
New entrances for teams taking the field

maybe it's when LT is in the wildcat???

either way, it definitely shows some hint towards setting player tendencies. Their likelihood to throw it deep, force into coverage, scramble, avoid pressure, etc...

this and custom playbooks look very cool early on

Those shots of field goals makes me hope that they have revisited special teams.

Not a bad teaser, honestly. Gave us enough to talk for a while, showed off some new features (without going in depth).

I noticed after someone pointed it out, kinda hard to see it!

Doesn't mean much to me if its still the same boring tackling animations and every player have the same running motion.

Which Madden was it that they took the time out to add Tiki Barber high and tight carry in? They really can't do it for more people?

Thx Econoodle for blowing up that shot...

What I can see - Custom Playbooks, New type of ratings, Walter Peyton in MUT (existing), newly detailed grass, Surprise onside kicks (already knew), mascots and on field camera crew (hinted at by Phil Frazier,) looks like a managements screen in franchise, maybe equivalent of live broadcast/fight cards from MMA, maybe new stadium detail (can't see anything there), something to do with field goal kicking (maybe it is about the camera work?) but it doesn't look that different.

Not to rain on the Madden parade...but i have a question "being serious". Do you think Madden will ever build a new game engine, to where the player models look more realistic, with the physics to match? Like say maybe have MLB The Shows graphic quality? I ask because you see all these other sports games who's player models look great... compared, even with shooters, granted they have more than 1 year to work on there game? i.e Battlefield 3 whose physics and graphics look 2nd to none with the new Frostbite engine.

# 40 Hova57 @ 03/22/11 11:34 AM
I'm almost positive that first field goal was blocked.
