Exactly! AND...the reason I'm migrating to Madden next year. I'm tired of losing 1 game and getting shipped off to the "whatever meaningless" bowl. I set up my sliders to be challenging, so I always lose a game or two. I need a playoff for my style of play.

First off, let me say that I'm a big fan of NCAA 11. I've had the game since launch and 6 months later am still playing it. I feel like it's the best football game we've had this generation, Madden included.

Obviously there are things we'd all like to see improved/implemented/changed going into NCAA 12 and the article does a good job stating some of the ones most frequently discussed on these boards.

For me, the biggies are:

-Fix the QB ratings so we can actually have "dual-threat" quarterbacks.
-To do that, we'll also need to see better blocking out of the spread and better AI by both the QB and RB.

-Improve zone defense AI for both the Human and CPU.

-Reduce the leaping ability of DL/LB, especially on the CPU side. This wasn't an issue until the patches/tuners came out.

-As the article mentioned, give us the option to choose which Tuner Set we want to use.

-Bowl patches

-Dreads (for you, ODogg!)

-Improved commentary

-Pre-game, halftime and post-game show

-Improve in-game stats layout

I'm sure there's more but that starts getting into nit-picking territory.

NCAA 11 took a lot of positive steps forward. I'm hopeful the development crew will continue to build on this now solid foundation.

I thing that I like about NCAA football dynasty is the ability to change teams after awhile. In madden your stuck with the same team and after awhile you want to change it up and you cant.

The one game that got this correct was 2k's College Hoops. You got to create your own coach similar to create a player mode, but with less options. Then you had to pick a bottom tier team to build up your coach's profile and after two years you could sign with a new team. Depending on how well you did the better teams you did. It usually took 4 years to get to a top tier team, 2 with a low tier and 2 with a mid tier team and then you could sign with a top tier team. Then it would usually take longer to get to the team you really wanted. Along the way your coach would be improving his recruiting, scouting, defensive, offensive, etc skills. If this was implemented into NCAA Footballs it would just make it last longer and be for fun.

I miss the Home Field Advantage. Remember the noise meter? The shaking screen? Now you hear Nessler yell about how loud the crowd is, but you can barely hear them. I want some of that atmosphere back. Maybe not exactly how it was, but if the crowd is supposed to be jacked up I want them to sounds it. If I bring a true freshman QB into the Swamp, I want my controller to have my hands shaking as bad as his should be.

And maybe offset that with some sort of a clutch rating for players. Low ratings mean you're guy is going to misread plays or blow assignments. Higher ratings mean your guys are going to step up and perform no matter where they're playing.

Agreed. That, improved atmosphere, and Improved Dynasty and RTG and NCAA 12 will be a elite(probably best) game

Yeah it would be cool if you had to pick your offensive, defensive and special teams coordinators. And each one would be giving a letter grade in the following categories:

Offense
Defense
Special Teams
Teaching

And what they were rated in those categories would determine how fast your players progressed during the course of the year.

I like that. Similar to College Hoops.

I think they need to let us edit ratings in franchise mode with some sort of robust editor that will allow us to mass edit ratings and such. For instance, mass edit all QB's ball carrier vision in order to increase it by 30%. Something like that.

I would like a letter grade for Recruiting as well.

College Hoops 2K8 remains the best College game in any sport.

They have the college atmosphere captured perfectly, and their dynasty mode is still the best of any sports game this generation.

The NCAA team should all buy copies of that game, play it for a week and take some notes.

You guys have said alot of the main stuff.

But I will add some little things: Mouthpieces.

Why do we still not have them when these were in NCAA '04 for Ps2...

Also, I still want to have the cheerleaders have the school name/logo on their uniforms, also like the old Ps2 versions.

This game is undoubtedly one of the greats of this series and with some tweaking NCAA '12 can be the best ever.

I'm not big on that coach answering questions stuff, I always just end up skipping through that stuff. I prefer the realistic dynasty mode - as opposed to the fictional stadium creation/fictional coach stuff. On the presentation stuff I agree however. I'd like to see dynasty mode feature a weekly show that is far more dynamic than that offered in Madden - College Gameday, with Corso wearing the mascot head or helmet. As well as improvements to the ESPN presentation - stuff like keys to the game and featured players with their stats and bio pre-game - I'd like to see primetime ABC games and for those games that aren't the biggest games, it would be cool if they were on ESPNU. I used to love the old-gen camera shake - it really added to the feeling that the atmosphere was building

dude, what you wrote is exactly what i want in dynasty!
screw the AD mode, that would get old just like it did in madden. and who wants to be an AD??? being a coach would be wayyyy more fun. i want a COACH DYNASTY!!!! i want to hav to work my way up to the powerhouse schools like florida and texas. i want to start at lower teir school and take job offers. even starting as a coordinator would even be cool. basically everything that you said about the coaching dynasty is what ive been wanting for a while and i would love NCAA football even more if it had this feature. i also think you should have the option to start a dynasty with whatever team you want as well. but i just REALLY REALLY want everything you described in that dynasty section. coaching carousel would be amazing. i just want to feel like im an actual coach when i start a dynasty.
so pretty much agreed with everything you said on here. hopefully EA reads this and takes your advice!
PLEASE EA, COACHING DYNASTY!

I'm more concerned about the career mode, I can't remember what it's called. It has so much potential, but it's really sucked the past few years, IMO.

The last thing i would like to see is add double hitting like when if some one is getting wraped up then someone else can come detroy him. thats all
One thing I can say is, no. Granted, I may not be "everybody" when it comes to those things as I rarely create a player, and even more rarely edit anything as far as roster goes. I adjust my depth chart, use the formation subs, recruit and play. Every so often I will change my schedule to get rid of a FCS game.

I understand why these things are wanted, it creates an experience that you can immerse yourself in. However, I never find myself wishing shoulder pads came out of jerseys, or watching a guy pull his socks up. Now that I think of it, yeah, it'd be cool. But at what cost? There are other things that need to be fixed/added/subtracted that more directly affect gameplay/dynasty/RTG.

See my post on this thread's first page to see what I would like to be fixed/added. But one thing I forgot to mention in that post is subtractions, specifically Season Showdown and Road to Glory. SS is a ridiculous thing that penalizes unfairly while contributing nothing (or very little) to the average, hardcore player. RTG has been broken for so long, I think it's just time to scrap it all together. If EA decides to bring it back in '13 or after, with drastic changes (like competent play calling) I may give it another shot.

And, to not sound like a complete bag as far as customizing things go, I wouldn't mind a universal editor to give everyone high socks, same shoes, etc. I've created maybe three prospects this year, and don't change anything other than height, weight and attributes. The only thing I change in roster edit is numbers if I switch a position (I like uniformity).

Coaching carousel. I could not stop playing dynasty mode in College Hoops 2K8 because of the coaching carousel.

Let me start by saying, I love the game but it is flawed. Here are a few of my suggestions.

1. Whatever Madden did to make D-line play better in the last patch, add that plus one.

2. Make strength and weight matter. With that you would have to make players heavier so if you have a fast pass rusher a powerful lineman doesn't automatically push him to the ground.

3. Make the kick go on a time count with better kickers getting more time. Say you have a 99 rated kicker, you should get, let's say, 10 seconds to adjust the arrow but if you have a 55 rated kicker, you should only get 5 seconds to adjust the arrow and the ball should be snapped at :00.

4. Awareness should mean more than it does, as far as assignments and just being in the right place at the right time.

Just some thoughts: I like the idea of an AD Mode. I would like more presentation but I feel like gameplay is more important. Facemasks are big to me, get all of them in. I know there are always surprise teams (Auburn this year) with players that over achieve (Nick Fairley), just do more homework. Uniforms have been patched in before, don't make us pay just give them to us (Mich St unis were wrong, no black out for Wash, Oregons unis were wrong colors, etc) I know it is minor, but he pay, hook us up!

The one thing I really want is to be able to edit player ratings whenever I want. I understand not allowing us to do it online (I never play online) but for offline games I should be able to edit their ratings whenever i want and not just be able to edit before I go into a dynasty. Some players rise throughout the year and some fall and this will also fix problems of recruits coming in too high or too low, depending on your preference.

# 40 HoardKing @ 01/13/11 08:19 PM
1. Eye Black and Dreads
2.Coach Mode where start off as a position coach and work your way up based on players performance.
3.AD mode where u have to handle the press, players actions, school upgrdes, sanctions, violations , and basically the overall direction of the program ie MIami, Notre Dame or some in between.
4. Bring in some kind of presentation . Add an award show at the end of the year.Pre,Halftime, and Post-Game shows. Basically add College Gameday and add some kind of end of the week highlight show.
5. Recruiting- This has become a thing of its own in real life. Have an High Shool All-American game. Have
the top recruits do like on espn and pick from three hats.Have a recruiting show on signig day.
6. Bring back the Senior All Star Game
7.Lose the mascot Mashupits a waste of space.
8. Medical Redshirts honestly EA should of had this years ago.
9. Sanctions- You should be able to go outside the box to get that top recruit, but if u get caught u should pay the price.
10. Coaching Carousel
11. Have the ability to upgrade stadium and facilities.
12.Mouth Pieces
Just a few thoughts.
