NBA 2K11 patch v1.2 is available for the PS3 and 360. Please post your impressions here.

Wish they would have reduced the accuracy of the "pass out of a shot" alot more. I still feel it is wayyyy to successful as it is now. Really stinks to play good d and have some big pass out of a shot in the paint to some 3pt dead eye with Magic-like accuracy....ARRGH! I really feel that tactic should have between a 60/40 and 80/20 (failure/success) success rate.

is anybody having this problem, ever since the patch i get injuried ever 8 to 10 games. and i get injuried for 2-4 weeks everytime. and the games dont sim i have to enter each game and sim myself and at the end of the games when they show me it show me DNP but i scored 10pts and shot 5-6, im in my 3rd yr in MyPlayer Mode is this happening to anybody else?

have you noticed that the on ball defense is broken?
At 100 dribbling the defender is too easy or not?

as far as i can tell, they've ruined the shot release with this patch. i don't even want to play the game anymore.

I was initially frustrated with the changes to the shot stick timing post-patch, but on a whim I changed the Quickness slider to zero for both me and the cpu and upped the shooting sliders by 1 (playing All Star/Sim/2K roster) and everything began to click. Pre-patch I was having trouble finding a slider set I was happy/truly comfortable with; post-patch after making the changes I've had nothing but enjoyable games. Court has really opened up in terms of fast breaks occurring appropriately, easier to distinguish fast/quick players versus slower players, getting to the hoop occurs more naturally, seeing lots of new anims, etc. Loving the cpu AI; been forced to use the various coaching options when playing which I wasn't doing for a while. Only other thing I tweaked was the Stamina, lowering it to 45 (playing 12min quarters). Seems I may have to tweak the Foul slider also; I've been seeing plenty of fouls - I've had instances where both me or the cpu get a player into foul trouble with default settings. But more of the games seem to give me a disproportionate edge in getting to the line.

I consider myself a slightly-above average to good player, so it's worked great for me. I've been doing nothing but playing NBA Today games with the rare Jordan challenge game thrown in every so often. Gameplay is flat-out amazing

Wassup fellas I have a big question... After getting the new patch I started my player over and now I'm not even being ranked.. I'm 20 games into the season at a 62 player rating overall and I'm still ranked at #50,000. Thats the same ranking from when I started. Any answers as to way that is?

btw I'm balling on the PS3

me 2...its hard to play when I know im going to miss open easy shots....I have curbed my playing also........

I will say though on some players the changed shot release is now easier. Like Granger and Kobe.

Well, some of us HAVE adjusted. I don't have any problems making shots, I just have a problem with how it ruins the feel of the game. However, if you loved 2k10 and the super quick shot releases, I can see how you'd love this patch.

For those that don't like the game post-patch and is on the 360, you can remove it by deleting the cache. Only problem with this is that it removes ALL game updates (other games).

That is pretty silly. Game updates/patches should really appear in the Storage menu, under that particular game, so you can delete it individually, without effecting patches for other games.

Well i sure don't see a lot of people saying they love it......who said they hang in the air for 3 seconds..?? did i say that....????...check the shot timing thread for the explanation of the physics i'm speaking of.......Figure that out for yourself....

i don't like the new release because it doesn't make sense. i release at the top of the jump, as they bring the ball back. that makes sense to me. this "quick release" sounds like it's based on a set amount of time instead of what you see on the screen. i hope they change it back. honestly, this is a case of fixing something that wasn't broken. there were plenty of players that already had a natural quick release anyway.

i downloaded the patch but it still freezes right before i have to play in the rookie/sophomore challenge (my player mode).. everything else works (shoot around, scrimmage, etc.) am i just going to have to start all over?!?! anyone else still having the "black screen" problem?
