have you noticed that the on ball defense is broken?

as far as i can tell, they've ruined the shot release with this patch. i don't even want to play the game anymore.

I was initially frustrated with the changes to the shot stick timing post-patch, but on a whim I changed the Quickness slider to zero for both me and the cpu and upped the shooting sliders by 1 (playing All Star/Sim/2K roster) and everything began to click. Pre-patch I was having trouble finding a slider set I was happy/truly comfortable with; post-patch after making the changes I've had nothing but enjoyable games. Court has really opened up in terms of fast breaks occurring appropriately, easier to distinguish fast/quick players versus slower players, getting to the hoop occurs more naturally, seeing lots of new anims, etc. Loving the cpu AI; been forced to use the various coaching options when playing which I wasn't doing for a while. Only other thing I tweaked was the Stamina, lowering it to 45 (playing 12min quarters). Seems I may have to tweak the Foul slider also; I've been seeing plenty of fouls - I've had instances where both me or the cpu get a player into foul trouble with default settings. But more of the games seem to give me a disproportionate edge in getting to the line.

I consider myself a slightly-above average to good player, so it's worked great for me. I've been doing nothing but playing NBA Today games with the rare Jordan challenge game thrown in every so often. Gameplay is flat-out amazing

Wassup fellas I have a big question... After getting the new patch I started my player over and now I'm not even being ranked.. I'm 20 games into the season at a 62 player rating overall and I'm still ranked at #50,000. Thats the same ranking from when I started. Any answers as to way that is?

btw I'm balling on the PS3

me 2...its hard to play when I know im going to miss open easy shots....I have curbed my playing also........

I will say though on some players the changed shot release is now easier. Like Granger and Kobe.
