Stop comparing the FIBA with the NBA. The title is NBA 2K11. Not FIBA 2K11.
That's fine. Kleiza's last NBA season, he had a PER of 13.2 and averaged 10/4/1 in 22 minutes a game shooting 45% and 32.5%. Pretty crappy, but definitely not a '55' caliber player. It's fine though, I can see his rating being bumped up to a low 60 (where it probably should be) fairly quickly.
RATING GUIDE
95-99: Goats (Greatest of All-Time. Not the animal.)
90-94: Superstar (All-NBA First Team mainstays)
85-89: Perennial All-Star (All-NBA Second Team)
80-84: All-Star Caliber (possible All-Stars or even All-NBA Third Team)
75-79: Average NBA Starter (or Sixth Man of Year contenders)
70-74: Below Average Starter (or typical 6th/7th men)
65-69: Rotation Player (8th-10th men)
60-64: End of Bench (11th-15th men and most D-League callups)
55-59: Should not be in NBA (i.e. training camp invites w/ non-guaranteed deals)
50-54: Hopefully earned their college degree.
Since when was 75 - 79 classed as average? I'd say people with that rating should be great players.
Dirk is a perennial all-nba first team so according to that scale should be between 90-94.
And to whoever said it's not FIBA 2k11, that's pretty obvious. But that doesn't mean Eric Gordon is a different player internationally than when he's playing in the NBA.

He may not be different the but the offensive and defensive talent in the NBA is.

This guy scored 50 in a game once. So lets boost him up. Thats what I see...lol jk
I think people are forgetting what was mentioned in the last update. They said there is a difference between a journeyman that is rated a 75 and a allstar player that is rated a 75. Basically if you aren't atheletic you are going to get slighted in the ratings.
My only gripe is that people forget Kleiza was a force when he was with the nuggets. 55 is not a good rating at all. and again it is your game CHANGE THE RATINGS TO WHAT YOU THINK THEY SHOULD BE!!! People will complain when they get roster updates. Realize the game has been changed 360 degrees. See how the player play then come back and complain.
Sorry but Kevin Durant > Carmelo Anthony... the 91 and 93 respective ratings need to be reversed. And Brandon Jennings = way underrated, while Wall = way overrated

ahhh... yes he is...lol A totally different game being played out in the FIBA. Where he probably faced more zones than he has in his whole NBA career. Yea I can see he was a different player....SMH
-Nash an 85? He could be atleast a 91/92. He is still one of the best PGs in the league right now. He doesn't get credit as much as Deron & Paul.
-Chris Paul- 95 > Deron Williams- 92? I say Deron is the better PG.
-Ray Allen can stay at 79. He's inconsistant. Brandon Jennings could be atleast an 80 IMO.
I know the point isn't who is better but how is rose better overall than rondo right now?
Rondo is better at rebounding passing and is worse at athleticism traits and shooting. Defense is half the game and so it makes sense his overall is slightly better

So Eric Gordon is not as good a shooter in the NBA as he was in FIBA? Am I missing something? He barely slashed in FIBA bc of zone but that's an additional aspect of his game in the NBA. He's a great shooter, a strong slasher, and a solid defender. He should be higher than 74, period.
Why do you guy equal this with power rankings? This is just video game skill points. Face it, some of our beloved players lack big time in some areas. If it wont show on court it wont matter (if they play like they do IRL).
Decent ratings. My problems are with Wall being rated higher than a rookie Jordan??? Also, I think Noah is rated too low. The Bulls are refusing to trade him for your "93" rated Anthony, yet he is somehow a 73??? Well, as long as Noah plays like Noah, with stingy defense, and dominating the boards, it should be ok.
Now, to all of you doubting Chris Paul. The only gripe anyone can have about him, and the only legitimate reason for ranking him lower than D Williams, is the fact that he can't stay healthy. But when he is healthy, he is a dominating player. We all seem to have forgotten this, but in '09, he was considered the second best player in the league, getting a lot of MVP talk. 95 is right on point for him.
