As much as I hated the videos that have been release, I am looking forward to the demo. As someone previously mentioned, finally a real BB demo.

nice amount of stuff being added to this demo, so I will have to check it out, whenever they decide to release a date for the demo, or release the demo....coming soon is not promising words for me lol

Dudee this shows me right here that EA cares about their fans. I might buy NBA Elite 11 just because they did so much for the demo. Btw the game looks slightly different than the early release now.

I like how you can import your character from legendary mode. I wonder if this is the same character you take into the EASBA, they probably just have offline and online stats.

Hockey Dude ain't playing.

EDIT: Should be 'interesting' to play the 4th Quarter with Shaq on the Celtics.

Nah its a different player for EASBA the devs wanted to start everybody off fresh for that mode.

cool I just hope the cap gives us enough options for customization. Man this EASBA has me so hyped for this game, I just hope they do it justice, like NHL.

I am really hoping the ELITE one doesn't include all that...that stuff should only be seen if you win the whole thing having played a season IMO.

Great to see a demo with depth though. 2K have already got my $$$ this season...now it's up to ELITE to see if they are worth spending $$$ on also. Let's hope it's good
Yeah I was like WTF?! I coudn't even skip it since i lost. I would be soo tight if the 2k11 demo had that.

Well can't wait to give this one a try glad to see its coming fully equipped too gonna spend a lot of time in practice mode for sure.

The controls through me for a loop so I'm glad we can get comfortable with them before we start playin. Can't be going into games like I did at the community event I was just terrible haha!

These games are going to be a pain to switch between....two very very different control schemes.....

IMO Its fun learning the nuances of this kind of stuff....

Man I'm Excited. this demo is gonna let people get their skills to an elite level using practice mode.

to offer so much in the demo after hearing them say over and over "try demo". shows the belief that they have in this game. so i for one cannot wait to feel it.

also am i the only one that sees that by EA letting us play with the lakers and celtics and then with our created player, they want us to feel the difference between stars and regular players? same thing they did with NHL. and it worked there so I'm ready!

Yeah man that switch is going to be murder this year especially if you stick with the default controls Lol!

RT being the pass button just feels strange and having to constantly think about which hand you are dribbling with is even weirder. I'm sure it'll become second nature after a while.

But i'm still excited though, this is the first year I think both game's are offerin control schemes that are worth figurin out. No crazy closeout speeds or canned animations to ruin great plays.

# 76 Jano @ 09/18/10 02:23 AM
I didn't say there would be none at all, just none that would ruin a great play..

Here is what they mean by "physics", it is nothing like backbreaker, or euphoria, nothing is generated on the fly. They just play back 2 different reaction animations for the given situation, as seen OVER AND OVER again from the gameplay videos.
Every game has canned-animations, GTA, RDR, and even Backbreaker have them, Elite included; they got rid of the all the two player animations. For this they had to use physics. Physics is more than just limb to limb contact and unique collisions, there are tons of variables to it. To say there are none is completely false and wrong.

wait wait wait...pump your brakes bro. RT is to pass??? I have never heard of that before. When you say the default controls, you are referencing the new controls, correct? And if RT is pass, what do the face buttons do, and what then is turbo??

Yep im talking about the new ones.

No turbo this year and the face buttons control teammates like pick and rolls or play calling. Trust me EA didn't add the practice mode in the demo for no reason lol! these new controls really change the way you play the game

Its going to be an adjustment for sure so the practice mode is going to be needed this year.
