I personally think that dynasty was already the best franchise mode in any sports game (short of maybe FIFA - I haven't played enough of it to tell). As long as none of the changes break it (I've been playing 2k's sports games lately - too used to broken franchises), it should be great.

Game looks amazing...the detail, animations, stadiums and fields, etc.

One thing I love it that finally if you or the AI for that matter make a mistake on either side of the ball or pick the wrong play you WILL get punished.

The Loco and Momentum feels right as well...Acceleration is a killer tool in this game.

Color me very impressed.

Another couple of things I wanted to see if anyone noticed. Throw accuracy for both sides seems to be a problem again, Clemson threw a fake punt pass 25 yards down field perfectly on a double coverage. It seems the only incompletions come from knock downs and dropped passes. Hopefully sliders take care of it. Still, the game is jaw dropping in most other aspects.

They do they type of stuff every year in their games. You'll see something on the commercial of video and it never happens in the actual game.

One of the reasons why i don't get too excited over their NBA basketball series anymore...Too much hype and fluff
My understanding is that when you go no-huddle the players are looking at the sideline, but we can't see it because the playcall screen is in the way.

Oops.

Hmm, ok. Shouldn't they be looking at the qb?

I agree with the looking past thing, though. If you enjoy it, that's fantastic. But those that can't enjoy it are not looking for perfection. They want to see the game play a certain way where these players can say they are in control and are winning or losing based on their skills. Not by warping players, uber-agile/cut at 90° angle animations and so on.
What do you mean in terms of gameplay?

Just because you believe the 2k5 had better gameplay doesn't make it a consensus feeling...

that's your opnion on the gameplay not mine....and i can bring up severla things in 2K5 that involved player movement not being right but this a demo impressions thread of NCAA 11 so i'll keep it on the right track

I read the first couple pages of this and I couldn't help but wonder if I played the same demo as these people. The praise seems to be this is the most amazing game ever, and while the game seems to play a little better than it's recent predecessors it still isn't a large leap. This is a demo so I don't expect much from the presentation, but some people were saying how amazing it is.

The demo is fun, but I'm just a little shocked at all the praise for this game.

Does anybody love the first person view? I've been playing with it for a while on defense, and I love it. I either choose an end to pass rush, which helps with the better view of the blocker, or I play Corner back and try and shut down the other team's best wide out. Plus one time I played as the defensive tackle, and felt great to be double teamed.

For people who hate the God view for the QB, you can do it with the QB and it makes a little bit harder, but you can still see most of the field.

Also, I tried Auto-Sprint, but didn't feel much of a difference.

Maybe you weren't around last years gloom and doom demo impressions. This is by far a much better demo than last years and it's not even close, imo.

I think the pump fake needs to be cleaned up. Too many times have a played one of my friends and they pump fake while im in cover 3 and my db's bite and roasted. Even on conservative.

Well not exactly. Usually the coaches on the sideline or backup QB are giving the signals . That's why everyone looks to the sideline even the QB.
