This demo = so far. Leaps and bounds above '10 and all the other current-gen NCAA games for that matter. Seeing great stuff so far.

This just gets me hyped to go start working on the rosters some more
Has anyone been able to throw a legit fade route?
It seems like the ball trajectory is better this year, but i've had limited success throwing the fade. I had one play where my receiver beat his man and i lobbed it to the back of the endzone and he leaped up to catch it inbounds.

The passes when the QB is getting hit are so much better than last year's 5 yard pop-ups. From what I've seen bad passes are still likely to go in the general direction of the receiver, but can be wildly inaccurate.
I'm starting to get back in the hang of things and had a fun game shutting out Florida 21-0 on AA. Had a couple of nice deep passes that weren't td's as the WR with high acc broke away initially but was caught from behind. I did however notice that movement is still not really analog which is slightly disappointing. <-edit never mind about that last bit i was wrong about that.

Love the demo. Controlling the QB in the pocket and running with him feels a little weird but that's my only gripe. This game is definitely not even close to being the same as last year's. Overall, good sim.

just lost a game due to a blown call with 12 secs left in the game. Up 7-3 on Miami with the Buckeyes, the receiver catches the ball clearly out of bounds. They review it, I'm thinking there's no way they are going to let it stand, but I'll be damned if they don't.
Demo is AMAZING!

I never saw this coming from the NCAA franchise. Year after year I saw twitchy garbage gameplay. Out of nowhere they drop this dime on me and I'm just tickled pink. I can't wait for July....

Sorry, two more gripes. Not feeling the new play call screen (takes too long to go through plays and I don't want to hold down LT to remedy this)
The replay angles are horrible. I like to look at replays to see how a play developed, not to look at how cool the game is in extreme close up views.

Just played two games, and off to bed, but my impression so far is this game is going to be awesome. Loved the lighting, the way the players looked, the way the field wore down over time when playing in the rain. I liked the announcers, it gave it more of a serious-like tone without Corso saying off the wall stuff. (I like Corso by the way, and saying that stuff is what he's all about, but I didn't mind not hearing him)
Heck I even loved the new P.A announcer in the stadium. It just had a more realistic sound, with a lot more bass behind the voice. The guy from previous games has been doing it forever, I have NCAA Gamebreaker 98 and it's the same guy doing it for 989 Sports.
Ya so far I'm loving it. Kudos to the EA Sports team and all they have done this year. The ESPN intergration, and presentation in general is outstanding. Again Kudos to the EA Sports NCAA Football 11 team.

I played a couple games and I honestly think its the same ol thing. Still no player chatter and poor crowd reaction at whats going on on the field. The gameplay feels a little more fluid but nothing here blows me away. Just a demo I know but this demo didn't get me excited at all.

anyone notice the group huddle at the begining of the game during the presentation with the QB in the middle holding his fist up jumping up in some wierd jig while everyone stands still. looks funny.

Wouldn't you know I just ran a kickoff back 95 yards for a TD with Florida, something I have never achieved in 10 with any team, and there is no save highlights option. lol
Great game BTW

The defensive PI one was a thing of beauty. I was in the redzone, had a 1 on 1 matchup with my WR on a DB, hot routed that WR to an outside slant and threw up a lob in the corner of the endzone. The WR jumped up, twisted his body around and tried to make the catch inbounds but the DB was all over him and got flagged for interference.

Ugh, 90% after an hour and a half. All these good impressions are making this wait even more grueling.
Mizzou's playbook is insane. Mega shotgun formations. Very fun to play with.
