Granted, there are faults. It wouldn't be a video game without them. I got a roughing the passer call on a play where there shouldn't have been (unless they DO have rules against driving the QB into the ground in BB), the A.I. kicker misses too much (only played on Medium difficulty though so the jury is still out)
I just wanted to comment on this. You aren't the Lone Ranger with the A.I. missing FG's.
I've played 3 games on hard and two on medium and there have been 7 misses of XP's and FG's in those 5 games with the A.I.
It won't go down if you move it to the hard level, at least for me.

Interesting. The CPU hasn't missed an XP in my experience and only missed 2 FGs - one of those being a crazy attempt from midfield. You heard me right, the CPU decided to kick a FG from freaking MIDFIELD. It fell about 5 yards short...I couldn't help but lol.
Those w/ missed kicks happen to notice the weather?
6 games sunny, 1 game night time.
I'm going to try Hat's suggestion and try a different team. 6 games have been with the original visiting team and the last game played against Indianapolis. Now that I think about it, Indy is suppose to be a good team.
Just reporting what I'm seeing, I'm not the only one.
The FG's missed were a chip shot XP and one from 30 yds away.
Anyone know what "Form" means in pre-game options? It states "average" and you can't change it in the demo.
Also, regarding the interception issue, there are 3 modes - arcade, pro and ? The last one is not available in the demo, only the first two. In addition there are 3 difficulties - easy, medium and hard with all of them available in the demo.
Hopefully that additional unknown mode along with hard difficulty will cut down on the int's. And hopefully they were able to improve the QB AI between the demo build and final.

I've seen one missed xp in high wind, 2 missed fg's, I've also missed 2, and I saw the cpu hit a 62 yard bomb.
The two main issues with the game are (for a couple teams) horrible qb play, and all around weak offensive lines. If both teams had better o-line play, there would be more sustained drives and offence. Indy's QB is fine, usually between 60-85% completions against me. It might also be the recievers...and the fact that most teams have pretty solid D.
It's not horrible, but it should be tweaked.
I'm finally stopping playing the demo. I've played for over 5 hours today - that in itself tells me something. Bottom line is it's a very fun game and feels like football. As someone else said it's got that chaos factor. You really can't predict the outcome on any play.

I assume form refers to player form, and that in exhibition games you can set it so players are in better form or something to that effect.
For the ? - that's custom, you can set it so maybe players don't glow but the ball still glows. Basically choosing what you like from arcade and pro, and making a custom setting.
The animations are great and the game has that intense no nonsense feel to it. The only thing holding the game back is not having more camera angle options.
Personally I think the camera is the biggest issue for me. It makes playing defense almost impossible imho, esp in coverage
At least for me, I am not finding that to be case at all. Have actually been quite good on defense even on hard. Coverage at least as a safety or linebacker seems challenging but not impossible at all.
I think alot of people who are having problems on defense are problem trying to switch players too much. If you pick one player prepay and stick with them it seems like you have alot more success.
As far as Int's go, a person may have to tweak qb ratings a little higher and possibly if there's a db catch rating when playing in a franchise mode.2k5 needed ratings tweaks to help things out a little as well.
Has anyone else noticed that sometimes when you try and examine what play you're running, it draws the opponents routes instead? It's a bit cheap when I go to see what my coverage responsibilities are and instead see what the offense is running.

I've seen this appear while on defense without doing anything.
Remember that if you customize a league that you can obviously make the teams much better than some of the crappy demo teams. The Indy team could be an average offensive team for example.
