Rampage is a beast on expert. His striking power is amazing.

Rua got me with a kimura in the 2nd vs Machida

I still cannot sway, do you have to hold a botton down to do it?

YES ! you can push off the cage from the bottom. I had Shogun mounted and he used his feet to push off the cage and flip over to get on top of me. Very nice !

FINALLY beat Rampage.

It seems like if you get a "moment" where the guy is rocked, your guy postures up immediately and rains down blows.

It's weird though.. I don't know what I did, but I slammed Rampage (you know when you're a wrestler last year and like suplexed him and ended up in side control? Well, yeah, that happened to me) then hit him with a couple small elbows, and he went into that moment, and then I finished him from there.

Now I'm going to try and get Shogun his rightful belt.. and use the leg kick strategy again to Lyoto. This time on Expert.

I really like the new mount animation, looks more realistic.

I just knocked out Machida with Rampage and they show a cutscene of Machida still on the floor with the fight doctor around him while they are announcing Rampage as the winner, sweet.

Ankle lock new..........I tried to kimura Shogun from bottom and he got out and dropped back and grabbed my leg into an ankle lock

yeah it's one of the shoulder buttons

As crazy as it may sound it looks like the best way to beat Rampage is to stand and trade with him or get him in a boxer/muay thai clinch.

It seems like when I try to move away from him he lunges forward with those flash knock out bombs. Still trying to find out how to use the sway system.

Anyone get a TKO???

Seem like every other post someone exprienced a KO...

IMO, I think the ref stopping the fight is more satisfying than a KO..

Anyone figure out how to stand up when you are on your back and your opponent is standing? Last year it was a flick up on the right stick, this year it isn't and I can't figure out how to stand back up...

PS- I really, really like what I'm seeing from this demo. And, if I remember correctly last year, the skill levels were different from the complete game than they are on the demo.

anybody else look at the controls and see how many different variations of kicks and punches you have ???????

regular kick
front kick - everybody has this, its a level 1 skill level
snap kick
leg kick
power leg kick
high kick
head kick
flying head kick
feint head kick
push kick
upper kick

And that just from standing kicks...........holy crap !

Man this game is too awesome. So many little things I'm noticing.

Just beat Rampage with Rashad on Experienced (took up the challenge, lol). I knocked him out with a left hook after rocking him and after the fight there was a cutscene of doctors kneeling around Rampage making sure he was ok. Mike Goldberg said "Man...he is STILL out!". It was also a 5 round title fight and when the winner was being announced it was just Rashad standing there and not Rampage.

So awesome.
