Any music that is past the 250 mark does not work for me. Has anyone else had this problem? I thought this sounds of the show bug was fixed in patch #2 and the song limit was expanded to 500.

Im sure someone has mentioned it already but in case they havent, coupled with the fact that there is no way Im reading through this entire thread to find out, the game is constantly giving errors on the catcher when its merely a ball in the dirt. It seems like if they throw a ball in the dirt that ends up being ball 4 and thus a walk the game then gives the catcher an error. In my last game Bengie Molina had 3 errors for the CPU and Russell Martin had one for myself and they were all on pitches in the dirt resulting in a walk. Apologies if its been mentioned already.

They fixed those not sticking in the playlist. This is apparently a new glitch, possibly a side-effect from the patch. For the record, the limit HAS BEEN 499, the latter half just wouldn't stick. For me, 245-up wont play; I've already posted it in B&G.

Yep, if it happens just try and ignore it. That's the best advice I can give you, it happens every time there is a ball in the dirt on ball 4. All I can say is don't throw the ball in the dirt when you get to three balls, lol.

Great! Thanx for the info. Look forward to the new patch.

BTW - The audio edit features on this game are SUPERB. Love how I can customize jukebox, walk-ups, reliever-entries, etc. Makes the game so much more fun. I even found Okajima's "Okie-Dokie, Okajima!" reliever-entry tune and added it to the game. So cool!

Any mode.
Hit select to bring up the display to look at pitcher info and hitter info during the game.

When you exit this the display loses all onscreen pitcher pitches display with the buttons to select what pitches. Pitch selection info is gone as are the hit r2 for guess pitch etc. All info is gone.

Happens everytime you hit select.

Question...do you play with the throwing meter on? I do and I have feeling that is what is triggering this "slo-mo" animation.
No, I play with it off. I didn't notice it pre-patch. The other thing that I have noticed is that it doesn't happen to the computer. It is smooth as silk.

Great news. The dev's comments sound like they've nailed the prob spot-on. Thanks, Segagendude!

Has anyone else seen a pitcher injured on a shot back up the middle? I've seen plenty of batted balls hit the pitcher hard, but have yet to see a pitcher injured due to this. Several times, however, they replay in "Show-Mo" w/Hud commenting "He's a gamer". In real life, everyone holds their breath when this happens. Most of the time the pitchers are indeed, "gamers" and are okay, but shots like this do lead to injury... Sometimes quite serious. Remember Padres' SP Chris Young taking that Pujols line drive off his forehead? Yikes!

Sooooo glad they did include this feature in 10 rather than having the ball pass through the pitcher as if he's a ghost like in '09. Now if the pitcher were injured once in a great while, that would be awesome. And it would certainly even out things, 'cause that guy's taking some screaming hits away!

While I have some problems with franchise mode, I'm absolutely in love with the gameplay. It's almost perfect.

I say almost because this... this I hate. And it happens far too often, sadly. (sorry for the crappy SD quality! also, video might not be live yet, YouTube is chugging along right now)

I posted a couple weeks ago about this exact same issue and everyone told me it didn't exist. Thanks for posting this. Not a game killer, love this game. Best sports game ever.

he over-ran the baseball.

Try making that play by going at an angle. In other words, instead of going horizontal, try going diagonal. Also..try tapping the R2(dive) button when you are in that animation.

Re: ***Official Bugs/Glitches Thread Part 2***
What game mode
franchise

any time Lou Gehrig gets a home run the top ticker says 0 instead of the hr. Others I notice will hit a hr and the above ticker says the players name and (5) if that's his 5th hr. Everytime Lou gerhig gets a home run it says 0.

ok, if this has been asked already my apologies i have started a chise with the Cubbies and am enjoying spring training.....granted i am 2-3 but havin a grand ole time. question though: why when a game is scheduled to be a day game with first pitch at 1:05 is it usually always a night game? when i am at the field selection screen it will have blue skies and the sun is out but i go to a different field selection screen, the ball park is suddenly under the lights? i figured it was just cycling through what a day game looks like and then a night game but when i actually start the game blammo! there i am under the lights. am i missing something? is this a bug of some sort. would love to hear that i am an idiot and that i am missing something rather than it being some kind of scheduling bug. again sorry if this has been brought up before.

I thought a dropped ball four by the catcher being recorded as an error was fixed by patch 2....?

# 259 rbrown348 @ 03/27/10 10:10 PM
has anyone mentioned the stupid POTENTIAL RATING in franchise mode? this is so annoying, and it makes players get progressivly worse that shouldn't be...example- ryan zimmerman, jon lester, robinson cano, dustin pedroia.....these guys become terrible by year 3 in franchise mode...so unrealistic they need to fix this!

How is David Wright's potential an F?

# 260 Chef Matt @ 03/27/10 10:11 PM
I'm leading the league in walks....WOW! Of course it's just spring training but still number 1 in walks earned....all-star default btw. All other numbers look good too. YES! 3 more games and ST is over. After that I'll check all my game averages and then I can give a fair first impression...

it's lookin pretty good so far....
