Seems like if you try a jump with any little forward or backward momentum, you get the one, same fadeaway animation all the time. Needs to have more varied animations.

Demo is very fun, but action is a bit fast and agree everything seems to run at 1.5x
Probably retail will have speed slider aswell.
Broadcast hud is very cool.
But i feel gameplay lot scripted and dull... Player defence is auto triggered by cpu, i gat so many defensive fouls and all are the same... My player will auto-block and make fault no matter why. Bit weird.
Same thing for contacts, most of them are scripted and since animation routine trigger up u can't do anything. Anyone feel this?
Altought i like in some way the simplicity approach of the demo... I have lot of fun.

Yeah I agree. But at the same time, its a demo. Its hard to really know if this game is good or not since this is not a final version of the game. Hopefully the defense gets tightened up and it won't seem so scripted as you said.
Love the presentation though.

Anyway i like the demo. Huge improvement from last year. Have to say gameplay (like Live) give always tight games, unlike the other game
U wnt be left bashed ferociously by cpu, even on high level. And this is a good thing.
Maybe is less sim, more arcadeish approach... Cnt say.. But is very fun and enjoiable!

At first, I wasn't a fan of the demo, but the more time I spend with it, the more I'm liking the game. It will probably be similar to Live in that there are going to be things (turnovers, contact animations) that are going to annoy you pre-patch, but once the patch is out, we should be golden.

I'm tryin' man, but nothing is panning out. If the game isn't street dated, then I'm SOL.

Centers move like they are PGs! Slow it down a little bit EA and things would look alright. Also Block animations are garbage. EA did a great job getting two different announce teams and two different broadcast styles, but please put some work in on the game play. Nolan Smith gets up court in like a half a second not even Devin Harris can do that. Probably the closest EA has been to a legit sports title in years but still looks like a fail.........prob still get my 60 though so I guess I fail too.

It will automatically restart when you turn the 360 back on.

Your first post ever and I think this is the funniest thing I have ever read here on OS! I find alot of humor in that. LOL

I've enjoyed the demo for the most part. My only gripe is the amount of contact animations. It seems like you get bodied every time you attempt a shot in the paint.

PS3 user who finally got to play the demo... I'm loving it. Seems a little more refined than live. Player animations seem pretty good. Played some 2-3 zone and didn't see any of the horrible turnovers that plagued last years game. Day 1 for me, the presentation is awesome.

Just played my first game and all I have to say is WOW! I'm going to be in just fine being stuck indoors during the long cold winter months. This game is good.

Played as UNC and was outrebounded 13-4 in 5 minutes. Also, playing All-American, cpu ate up my zone defense. Good to see.

Yes!!! Good stuff, I should be playing in the next 30 minutes or so....
