Is it me or does the staples center look too dark? The court looks ok, but the seats look too dark to me. However, as I mentioned earlier I do like the lighting I've seen for the pepsi center.

It's called the "lights out" effect. They've used it for years at the Staples Center. You didn't know that?
The trailer has me wanting to play the game even more. Looking at what is possible to do makes you think of all the possibilities.
One thing that puzzles me about some of the responses to 2k10 is you would think that 2k produced garbage or is some company that needs to be approved of because they aint never made anything right.
"Well I gotta see x, y, z, before I believe the game is good", LOL
Man, this aint EA trying to sell you a game. This is 2K telling you, "Chill them mother lovers out, and be cool. We are sending them the wolf........"
As our brother Samual Jackson knew from that line, and everyone who has played 2k basketball and knows how they roll knows. "S*** you sending the wolf ? Thats all you had to say......"
Whats all this worrying about ? 2K dont produce garbage. The day you start seeing EA devs work for 2K then you can start worrying. Till then, Chill them mother lovers out and tell them the wolf is on the way.
As for you Live fans. Things are looking up for yall. You gotta 2K dev bringing your game up to snuff. Thats some good ish for all of us. Maybe that 2k disease will spread to the Madden department so we can finally get a football game out of them thats not broken.
I have to beg to differ with u, my bruva. See, the thing about these trailers is that they're old hat. People like me who play 2K year after year aren't gunna fall for the banana in the tail pipe, anymore. These are edited trailers they do all the time before release and this is nothing new plus 2K ain't really sayin' nuffin' in these interviews and such because there are still glaring issues that they seem to not even wanna speak on. People have grown tired of the same old game with new animations and some extra presentation, here and there but no fixes to probs.
To be honest, I think these trailers are for noobs and they get sucked in by a great editing job with a nice musical selection to add to that hype.
And since you are into quoting the "immortal" Samuel L. Jackson, "Jus' cuz you pour syrup on s*it, don't make it pancakes..."
....we all grew up on live (ea was the only sports franchise back then), but the gimmicks and great advertisement of EA sports continued to fail on the final product.
VC/2k sports fan
WOW you completely skimmed over In the Zone and Shootout, You haven't been playing video games long.
The freaking cavs warm up jersey!!!!!
Correction: Short sleeves, Maroon stripes color not BLUE!
Get it right gosh dammit!
That was a picture of last year. How do you know the Cavs warm ups didn't change for the 2009-2010 season and are correct in the game? Or maybe the fact that this trailer was put together from different builds of the game and is a early build. I think it's a little too early to nitpick about the color of the warmups.
it's wrong because it's not the same in nba live 10..usually if a team change jersey, both game get it right...It looks just like the clippers warm up on this one lol!
Oh Ok. But how do you know it will be wrong in the final build? How do you know if they got it right or not, when the game isn't even out yet? In the 1st few live trailers you could tell the graphics weren't as good as they are in the demo, cuz they put trailers together from early builds of the game. Just saying it's too early to nitpick warmup colors from early versions of the game.
Awesome trailer from 2K once again. I think the difference between the 2 games is quite obvious. Especially in graphics and presentation, there's no competition. 2K looks as close to the real thing as we've seen in a game yet.
As for gameplay, sure Live is trying but it still has a lot of ground to cover, whereas 2K already has a solid product that just needs to imporove some details. Can't wait for release day!

Maybe I phrased my concern the wrong way and I apologize for that. I do know that the staples center dims their lights, but the way 2k represents it is too dark in my opinion, at least based on the trailer. Maybe the trailer makes it look dark and the actual game will look a little lighter than it?
Trailers was cool. Mo did it proper once again. Other than a few dunk animations and a nice off balance jumper by Rose, I didn't see many new things there.
Just my two cents anyway. At least a demo will be dropped.
Just wanted to give Mo his props, trailer was gangsta as usual. I'll stay tuned for some info on gameplay. Howard's putback jams were very nice and smooth though. Looks like the post game is a little more fluid, by some of the Melo stuff.

That top picture's hilarious. All of 'em crack me up, especially Delontè.
One of my favorite parts of the video was Tyreke Evan's dunk. It appeared to be one of those slams where the player throws the ball in without real rim contact, like Dwight's Superman Slam from the '08 Dunk Contest. Pretty sweet.
