except that video wasnt supposed to show a breakdown of everything. Its supposed to have a wow factor for the casual fan. Go look on websites where that video is post and look at what 90 percent of everyone says. 2K accomplished that they set out for in this video.
What's silly about comments like that is just 2 years ago, people were posting "OMG like my man Momentous needs to be out at 2k making the trailers."
So.... 2k went, got him to do a few trailers, and now guys are claiming they aren't worth watching because it doesn't show them what they want to see.
Only the sports gamer. People weren't excited for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and screaming "show me the improvements!" as they produced trailer after trailer.
Just a funny situation all around. I used to stick up for the guys at OS who were above that sort of thing but little by little I'm losing my side of that argument.
I liked how when Melo was driving in someone was heading to the corner for a wide open 3. Notice the lane was clogged and he was free.
Just something no one mentioned.
Nice call! I noticed it too. You can see something similar also in the VC drives.
On the whole, the trailer shows a lot about (supposed) gameplay improvements, considering that its main purpose was to hype and excite, not informe (left vs right cerebral hemispheres, you know)
You got the Js out of the dribble & the mid-range game, the drive & kick, the defensive rotations & help D (maybe I'm wrong, but even Gasol block seems on help D)
Great trailer! Now I'm listening, 2k...speak to me!
and the CAVS pre-game photos are simply ridicolous
Dangit if 2K would tweak those uniforms a bit more to improve the fit on the players I'd really by hyped! Yah, I know that's pretty nit picky, I accept that, haha, but the way the uniforms fit the players has been bothering me since 2K went to the "next-gen" consoles. It has that paper-like look to it and it doesn't move very realistically.
I don't see how people get so upset to the point that they say they won't buy the game just because the warm-ups were not the right color or they were supposed to be short sleeves instead of long sleeves.
trailer was nice.....BUT i hate 2k's graphics it's just something about em to me that makes it seem so unrealistic. They need to add more color or something because everything looks so dull!!The gameplay can't comment on because i need to play it but hopefully it won't be like 2k9 because that was a mess. The pre game rituals may be nice for presentation but how much control will there be in this game?
"Just Not Diggin 2k"
Don't worry, I trust that 2K is well aware of our gameplay concerns and major missteps made with 2K9 (help side principle, unstoppable paint scoring, utter lack of collision detection inside, Isomotion clunkyness, inability to stop n pop with Kobe, etc) and will address it.
I list the above problems for a reason tho... meaning 2K isn't ignoring all that (they were pretty glaring), just saying we'll get what we need soon enough, but businesswise they need to re-wow the casuals.
This trailer wasn't even for us, to be real about it. But it will serve to retain the majority of the multi-millions who bought 2K9 and never cared/even noticed lack of help D and silly animations.

If these graphics are unrealistic I could only imagine what you thought about double dribble
2k has great looking animations seriously top notch animations, but the control is terrible. I tried playin the combine and somethimes the player just go backwards when you trying to do a isomotion move
