That video I posted is from the 360 demo. The game is visually stunning. It has a clean crisp look. I actually felt cold LOL! The game is much slower than last year but it felt really smooth. I actually got a sack with Justin Tuck, starting with and outside move and then stuntng back to the inside, and felt in complete control. Animations were very smooth. When the quarterback is hit while throwing the past is severly affected.

I have to say the demo has raised the hype and hope for me!

For some reason Steelers oline likes to miss blocks. 2 times Docket has sacked Ben on the goal line during a run play and no one blocked him.

and on stretch plays or outside runs if there is a guy lined up outside the Tight End the tight end is suppose to block him but instead he runs in a circle or blocks inside and the Linebacker comes free to blow up the running back

This is ridiculous. People making videos already on Madden 10 and it's based off the demo. A demo that Ian clearly stated isn't the final build and is missing 2 weeks of polish.

The making of the video thing is getting tired already. Now we have people jocking Apex's on their videos.

Show me something that occurs every 3 plays, then I will agree that it is a problem, but if it happens vary rarely then I dont care.

No game is bug free. Every game has a bug occur here and there, even MLB the show.

I think that is because Pittsburgh O-line kindof stinks!

thats the problem right there. football is about consistency and expression of football should be about consistency especially when its comes to footwork, technique, and execution at each given position from both sides of the field

no oline misses down lineman on a run play. Even the lions oline can make that play or at least get in the guys way

For sure the last one.

I'm just trying to be real with you as well. If you played the demo, in the left hand corner there was a WIP message , which means work in progress.

Bottom line, let's hope it's not in the game, but if it is, the positives from 09 to 10 definitely at this stage outweigh the negatives.

I see what the youtube guy said, but some football players also have some unreal physics.

Also, I wouldn't call that getting defensive, it's called having a different opinion than you.

Just saying.

Must be EA's tribute to Michael Jackson.

I like the addition of late hits out of bounds.

You can get some things done in 2 weeks, but not that much and certainly nothing really dramatic. I'd love to act as if this and the retail version will be a night and day difference (although in my opinion it really doesn't need to be), but I've been around this stuff long enough to know that what we have right now is pretty much representative of what we'll be getting August 14th give or take a few tweaks/adjustments that most people won't even notice... but again I think that's a good thing as I believe the game even in its unfinished state is pretty solid.

Oh, ish - My PS3 just SHUTDOWN while playing the demo and it will NOT boot back up, no matter what I do!!! I am NOT a happy camper, right now. This is SOME BULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you saying before he could hand the ball off or during a QB sneak?

I doubt the (tens, hundreds) of thousands of people who downloaded the demo all read OS. It won't affect sales, but EA is pretty dumb to release an unfinished version of the game as a demo.

---

As for impressions, plays slightly better then NCAA, but that is to be expected as it always has.

IMPOSSIBLE to see the ball in flight, no wonder they added the huge red circle. Visual upgrades are nice, but there is no need for the constant flash bulbs. It just seems kind of washed out and dark, to hard to tell what is going on.

Also, WAY to many cut scenes, I've had times where the second a players knee hits the ground it switches to a field level view. Very very annoying.

i would call them unreal situations rather than unreal physics. the vid u show was a unreal situations, i watch that game and still dont see how marion got out of that but it wasnt based off physics it was based of the situation.

i can guarantee potty train will be in the final build. thats a animation and animations are set so the only way that animation not to be there it would have to be removed from the madden slot machine. my overall impression is good for madden 10. presentation and passin are the high points but the low points can be game killers for some

They're really not being dumb at all. In this matter, they have no choice if they want to get the demo out before release which is most ideal. There are a number of channels with differing interests that this stuff has to go through in order for a demo to hit before release date.

# 740 Gman @ 07/23/09 07:22 PM
Anyone know if we can we download both demos? Thanks in advance.
