Yea I don't mind the constructive criticism, but its also the way some people come off in their posts. They don't now how to come across in their posts without sounding like douche bags. The nit picking will reach an all time high, along with the "This isn't the final game!!!!!!" posts.

The Demo will most likely be available for everyone in August anyway - just like it always is for Madden games.

Because you have to pre-order the game, and put down at least $5 for it, rather than EA just making the demo publicly available without needing to put down a deposit and pre-order the game.

Yes, you can cancel your pre-order, but thats a hassle for some people, and EA and Gamestop know this

Give me one good reason why they cannot just give out the demo with no strings attached?

One good reason: They can guarantee more money. I'm sure Gamestop paid EA some good money to make this demo exclusive. Just more money all the way around. I'm sure they are thinking it won't bother the hardcore Madden fans because they plan on getting the game anyway.

Well, you're still going to pay the same price and I am sure the demo will be available to everyone before release date. this is for those who want it earlier. I don't see the problem.

You are 100 % right. Game stop want you to per order with them so you can get the demo early, then in august you can stand in line for hours with a bunch of dummies waiting for your copy of madden. I made this mistake last year and won't do it again. I am to old to be standing in line with young kids to get a video game, when I could have just went to wal-mart at 12 that same night and picked it up with no lines and no per orders, I know I'll go to wal-mart this year.

LOL I don't get it. Just because you pre-order from them, doesn;t mean you have to stand in line with "kiddies" and get the game from them.

True, since i already threw down 60$ ill get the demo, and then just wait till Aug 14 and pick it up in the AM when they open. lines are overrated..

Yes this also means EB Games, they are both under the same ownership(they are the same store, same promo's all the time.)

Everyone will be getting the demo, just those who pre-order get it before it hits 360/PS3 demo downloads, which is only about a week & a half before.

Want you mean ? you don't get it. so you will per order madden from game stop and not want the game when it comes out at midnight, then why would you per order from game stop, just don't per order and pick it when you feel like it, they won't run out of copies. You miss the whole point why people per order from game stop to get madden that night before everybody else.

somehow i think the demo we all get through the XBL/PS store will not have 4 5 minute quarters. probably only 2
