General:
  • AL and NL West (including Cubs) schedule addresses. Day games updated to correct time zone.
  • Addressed CPU Pitcher Energy from always full when pressing the quick menu while batting.
  • Fixed the issue when in the bullpen moving from last pitcher (closer) to top pitcher, the top pitcher's stats stay the same as the closer.
  • Inning pitched count corrected for pitchers during spring training. This is in ALL SEASON Modes.
  • Fixed AUTO BASERUNNING. Users should no longer be able to control steels for you or CPU using L1 and L2 in any game at any time.
  • Fixed the Movie Recording feature in both Replay and Replay Vault. Users should no longer get stuck after multiple recordings.
  • Players names not being called correctly in the audio. One specific item was Beltran being called Delgado and vice versa. This line used to be erroneously said for Juan Rivera. It has now been corrected to play for Casey Kotchman. This line used to be erroneously said for David Ortiz. This line used to be erroneously said for Miguel Cabrera. It has now been "disabled".
  • Career stats after going online and using weekly online Live Rosters or using the Online Roster Vault should now be correct.
  • Fixed issues with unbalanced trades when the rosters were full. 3 for 1 trades that will result in people being placed on waivers should now function.
  • Fix the problem in RTTS as the pitcher when a baserunner from 1st steals, the camera would sometimes swing around thru the crowd.
  • Fix switch hitter sub presentations using the wrong helmet sometimes.
  • Fix RTTS CP never getting a goal before the 1st pitch
  • Fix the Batter Training camera automatically being set to Catcher Cam.

Franchise Bugs

1.Fixed September 14 Road to the Show season lock.
2.Scouted players should now have feedback at the time of the amateur draft in June.
3.Fixed CPU roster control and lineup issue where users turn cpu roster control on, set a lineup, but lineup changes do not hold.
4.Fixed a bug where the user controlled team would not receive compensation picks when they lose Type A and B freeagents.
5.Fixed bug not allowing farm directors to be hired or fired. Just load into a franchise and fire a farm director during the off-season.
6.Addressed a problem where the title loses simulating functionality in franchise mode when addressing online requests.

Online:
1.Addressed Free Agents in the Online league Live draft. They should now be placed on teams through Roster Update are usable on user’s teams. (Guys like Manny Ramirez or Adam Dunn should now be available.)
2.Fixed Message Board bug that result in no messages being shown after changing full pages.
3.Reduced online game bandwidth usage.
4.Made minor change to the League create screen to Randomize the Draft time to various 30 minute increments from 12noon from 8pm.
An attempt to fix in-game disconnect issues in the production community. This is in an effort to stop the dreaded traffic delay problem the the community is reporting.

Here's something I'm wondering. Roster made from the last couple of updates will not have the stat glitch. But will it happen again? Will the new rosters start glitching with some future update?

So, this is what the second thing they "fixed" but actually didnt? They said they "fixed" this auto baserunning issue and its still working, thankfully, and they said they fixed the roster control issue and that wasnt fixed either. So at this point, what did they fix that we the users can actually see for ourselves and identify that it was indeed fixed?

what are the chances of this being fixed in another patch?

Yes, but as per my previous thread and post, you also will have to use the two controller method for games that you actually play to set up the CPU lineups to stick. What you described only works for simmed games.

This is what I've been using and haven't had any issues with the lineups or whatnot. There are no real minor leaguers in this update, except for the Cards and a sprinkle of others.
So does your roster file have any kind of advantage over the stock 4/20 or 4/27 updates?

I understand your concern. No, I don't think so because 4/20 is fine after today's update. The historical stat glitch is gone in my opinion (I tested them extensively this morning) from the 4/20 and 4/27 update and Russell_SCEA confirmed this.

Really? Turn on Roster Control in the franchise set up role, then go to your franchise, sim or play through spring training. Then once you get to the regular season, go to the "CPU Roster Control" section and edit any/all lineups. They should stick. I just did it.

It wont work if you set it in the main menu outside franchise

I have no idea. I don't know if those rosters contain the lineup glitch or the historical stat glitch. Mine do not.

Some guys asked if I'd post it so I did.

well, no, otherwise the 4/20 rosters would have the stat glitch when the 4/27 update was released...

I haven't downloaded the patch yet and I'm using Knights OSFM v2 rosters. I don't care about the stats glitch since I'm only playing 1 season. Will his rosters still work if I download the patch? Again, I don't care about the stats glitch -- I just want a realistic game for a season.

What about the lineups? Will Knight's tweaked roster (OSFM v2) still fix the flawed CPU lineup error?

Thanks in advance!!

It would only be the lineup fix since players have been added by SCEA since then. Plus, Knight didn't have many minor leaguers done at the time of that release.

I think I am going to edit the 4/27 rosters for my Cubs, Red Sox, Twins and Indians, if I don't just use one of Knights.

You're all good then. I started a franchise with them and simmed today, and it didn't crash on me. Simmed two months.

Man, not to be too negative here, this whole process has been very frustrating. Some stuff they said is fixed isnt, some stuff that isnt fixed, now works differently.

Very aggravating not being able to fix some stuff or go thorugh an easy process. I want to play with the right rosters, with the right lineups but still have injuries and CPU trades. Only way i can do that is to use rosters that have line up fix. WIthout Knight's rosters, its impossible (or close to it).

If i want the right stats, or if i want to use stock SCEA edits and have minor leaguers, i have to turn on roster control and miss out on injuries and trades.........

Very disappointed. But i guess the game itself plays well, its just the window dressing stuff that is messed up. For some of us, its important.

Yes, the 4/20 and 4/27 rosters have the lineup glitch (its the game). They do NOT have the career stats glitch.
Yours would be a good base for Knight if he wanted to redo his work. (I don't expect him to by the way, and he said he wouldn't, but maybe he doesn't know about yours Country Boy).

I just played a game and used the quick menu and the pitchers stamina was still 100%. That was supposed to be one of the fixes. Can someone else confirm I am using an existing franchise as well?

This works for every team except the one you play, for instance if you control TEX and swap CLEVS order (OD matchup) CLEV will be changed once you start your game. But let's say your team is the YANKS and you fix all teams batting order, then you can see CLEVS it will stay put for their game vs. TEX. CPU ON is working with the exception of YOUR opponent in YOUR Franchise. Weird huh?? Hope this makes sense

It IS fixed, if you use Sony's rosters after 4/20.

CountryBoy, tried loading your rosters but it's not showing up as a roster file when I pop my USB into my PS3?
