Peter Moore has posted the first screenshot of Madden NFL 10.

Ian look above the top bar on the helmet. He's wearing the visor. You can see the tabs at the sides.

The only problem I have with the screenshot is that it looks like it was taken at the right place, at the right time. Two weeks from now, will it look as nice when we are behind the quarterback and there are three defensive players downfield doing nothing but staring at the ball?

As little as it seems shoe color and variations are important to the overall environment. Nobody really wears just grey or just black shoes. Give us some shoe diversity or variety. It doesnt have to be brand related, just give us options to have alternate colors like the Big Ben picture above. It makes the players look more authentic and less generic.

at least thanks to procedural awareness they will be looking at the ball instead of into space!

good deal. I have a question too Ian, now we got the towels and everything that people have been asking for. Any chance we can fix the players tape spats. Can we make it look more real instead like a boot.

Maybe it's just me, but does the way that Big Ben is gripping the ball look wierd to anyone else? He seems to be gripping it too far back for a normal QB to be able to throw it.

Yea you're right on that one, and his hands look small to. I t would be nice for them to fix that feature but as always with madden, I am just worried the gameplay for now.

man they just need to make Big Ben thicker hence the nickname BIG BEN....or was that cause of his arm....anyway he needs to be bigger....LaBoy also he looks like a WR...and i hope they got rid of all the belly fat on the DE's and i was checkin my boy Darnell Dockett out on 09 and man he looks to be pushing 500lbs....

Also based on comparison shots they're wearing the same cleats and equipment for the most part. Only big difference equipment wise is team colored gloves. Bummer. WE NEED VARIETY! (Helmets too)

With the amount of detail we study these screen shots, it's too bad members of OS weren't on the Warren commission.

We could have studied the Zapruder film, and had the JFK assassination solved in no time.
