Not too shabby. I like it. I think we got a little taste of the real time atmosphere when the camera pans back after the first pitch.
I also like Gary Thorne's commentary. A lot better than Morgan and Miller.

I wonder if it would take that long for a pitch. I like the cut-aways, but I'm also thinking they added a bit just for the trailer. It was a bit much even for a television broadcast.

I noticed the lights sort of burst when the ball reached the fence. That would be interesting to see if it's included.

The thing that bugged me the most was the way Beckett looked & that crazy BIG "B" on his hat.. It almost looked like Beckett of 2K8
EDIT: I think I'm right pause it @ the 58 second mark..

The more I watch it, the worse the jerseys look. Those Boston jerseys look just awful. They almost look like they were shrunk in the wash. The proportions of things just don't look right.
I don't recall 2k7 looking like that. They had some of the best jerseys out at the time, even with the ridiculous over the top animation of them flapping because of the wind.

Watching it over and over again isn't going to help the jerseys, so you're right about that!
thought it was cool...sound was great - finally a good crunchy bat noise, and the catchers mit noise was good too as well as post homer music etc..
I don't care if the uni's are a little off, for me it's all about animations, believable results and it better have steady framerates, i'm talking ZERO slowdown during gameplay - hiccups are ok to me to a certain extent in menues and a tiny bit in cutscenes or replay transitions, but i have zero tolerance for gameplay slowdown.

I was impressed, as most of said the commentary seemed great - a huge step up from Miller & Morgan.
I just watched MLB 2k8's trailer and compared it to 2k9. Wow. Huge difference. 2k9 really has a "MVP Baseball" type feel. I don't know what it is about it.

I'm kinda curious how people can get an "MVP feel" (or hell, any feel at all) from that video. We still haven't even seen a game play video.

Don't the Red Sox have the hanging sox on their cap, its not the B anymore?
Apparently they didn't have enough time to make that change..
