I can fix that in the PC version. Well hopefully.

I wonder if 2K is aware that there is actually baseball played in the Midwest.

look when the ball hits the bat. at that angle the ball would never travel to left field, that's a problem they had in 2k7 and 2k8

See, now I think people are just looking for things to complain about.

I saw Jason Bay hit a pitch an inch off the plate into the left field bleachers last year. If a hitter is strong enough, they can pull an outside pitch. And Longoria is one strong player.

I like everything I've seen so far (I'm not going to overreact a bit like a lot of you are doing about the faces- I think they look perfectly fine), but from the looks of the Longoria swing it would appear VC did not have time to add signature swings to the game because Longoria almost always swings with two hands on the follow-through not just one if I'm not mistaken.

This is going to sound like a complaint, but I'm actually surprised this is not in the game.

I kept looking at Josh Beckett standing on the mound and it hit me what doesn't make him as believable as I'd like him to be. He's not breathing. Seriously. The guy is shaking off the catcher and the rest of his body is stiff. It makes him seem flat.

Why isn't this in video games today?

You know something I have never though about that. As small of a detail as it may seem. I feel for a game such as baseball it would be great. Picture this 8th inning your starter is still on the mound. Your team is up 3-2 with 2 outs men on 2nd and 3rd. A-Rod(roids and all) is at the plate with a 3-2 count.

But at the end of the day this is the least of 2k's worries.

While the movement of the outfield fans seems cool it DID NOT feel like Longoria hit a 2 run jack in the ALCS. The crowd was awfully quiet.

The jerseys, the players, and the graphics overall aren't impressive. Not up to par with 2K7. And certainly not up to par with the first few screenshots that were released (wink-wink ). It seems to me they toned down the graphics to at least try and get the game running smoother. Which is good news, as long as we get a game that runs smoothly and not the disaster we got last year.

The atmosphere sounded great at first, until Longoria hit a 2-Run HR and they hardly reacted. The bat sounds are great, but then again this is a trailer and not gameplay. We saw this last year when they added in bat sounds to their trailers that had everybody salivating.

I've always loved Gary Thorne, he's the best part of this trailer. I hope he sounds like this in-game and this wasn't just recorded for the trailer.

I keep telling myself I will take a wait-and-see approach with this game, since I was burned so badly by 2K8. But who am I kidding? I have purchased multiple baseball games every year for the last decade or so. I certainly won't play this game more than that other baseball game, but hey, if I can get 500+ achievement points out of it, I will consider it a success.
