"You can’t go there yourself for several more weeks, but today you can virtually attend a game in the New Yankee Stadium. Developers for upcoming PlayStation 3 game “MLB 09: The Show” have rendered an epic Yankees game in the new building, with new stars C.C. Truth of the matter is mascots don't take up that much memory at all period end of discussion.

It's time someone puts you in a timeout. No one thinks we should all butt kiss these guys for their great work, but continuiously nagging on every single detail you find out of place is not contructive, helpful, or wanted. You've become nothing more than a troll.

If the game doesn't live up to your wild expectations, then don't buy it. Simple solution.

Why isnt Candlestick in this game?!?!?!....we are in next gen right?

Just taking up more resources putting in dumb things like arbitration and 40 man rosters and legend modes that nobody can beat.

Game killer for me. I'm passing this year.

Same here, no Exhibition Stadium, Sportsman Park, or Olympic stadium = a no purchase for me.....and for the love of God, can someone explain why there is still no "jump out of the stands, and beat the 1st base coach" feature/option this year.

Wow, the game looks incredible!! I loved the HR's, and the extended rounding the bases cutscenes, beautiful!

They wanted to include it, but with the mascots there just wasn't enough memory

The lighting and the transition from day to night was amazing.

Teixeira swings late but still the contact is in the middle of the bat and the homer goes to left? They seriously need to work on forgiveness of the bat. Otherwise everything looks good.

That's not Kolbe's area of the game.

I'm hoping (WISHING!! PRAYING!!!) that the build of the game they took these vids does not have all the new animations.

This video highlights CC Sabathia and Johan Santana's laughably bad pitching motions they have had since MLB 2006. Yet, Mark Teixeira has a more accurate batting stance, and A.J. Burnett has a new pitching motion that looks GREAT.

So my hope is that this build doesn't have all the new animations in yet.

Between NBA Live, Skate 2, Rock Band 2, and MLB the show 09, I dont need another game until the new NBA Live drops.

Too bad I can't watch it as I live outside the US (Canada).

I don't own a PS3 but have been contemplating getting one just so I can play The Show. After watching the Yankees video, though, I'm certain of one thing: If the home run camera is the same one seen at the 1:09 mark, I'm buying this game on Day One.

Many people demand accurate player renderings and animations when seeking a more realistic game. For me it's being able to play the game just as I watch it on TV. This game appears to do that better than any game I've ever seen.
