NBA Live 365 Status Update

Hello Everyone,

In our communication to all of you before the launch of NBA LIVE 09, we said that NBA LIVE 365 would be “Made Fresh Daily.” This will certainly be the case, but I wanted to update everyone on our current status, because there are lots of questions being asked around the community concerning NBA LIVE 365 and when it will officially “turn on.” Last night the NBA season officially kicked off. Six teams played, and the NBA LIVE 365 information was received and is ready to be pushed in-game for all of you to enjoy, but in order to accurately reflect what’s happening in the real NBA in NBA LIVE 09, we need the data from EVERY NBA team once they finish their first game.

The last NBA teams will play their first game on Thursday (10/30). To accurately reflect what happened for every team’s first game in NBA LIVE 09, we’re going to turn on NBA LIVE 365 on Friday morning (10/31) for everyone that input a code on the insert inside the NBA LIVE 09 packaging. Once every team plays their first game, you will see your daily changes as promised.

We’re terribly sorry for the inconvenience, but we really wanted to update the community on what our current status is. We thank you for your overwhelming excitement and continued interest for this feature, and we promise that you’ll be pleased with what’s reflected in-game based on the real NBA season. It’ll be a long, enjoyable journey for all of us to enjoy!

Well let me correct my statement - I thought he meant REWIND in general..if you mean games from last night? No sir - I am not getting those.

Rewind games are showing up right now, but they're a few days behind and don't have correct DNA (which we're working on).

exactly. i'm talking about rewind from current games this year. i get nothing as of last night. so do we have an eta for when the dna issues will be worked out?

They're coming in right now, but they're behind schedule. so for instance, Friday's game's are there, but not Saturday's. (we're working on this now).

What about today's games? Are they there yet?

well today's games wouldn't be available until tomorrow, assuming everything was working. i just want to know when dna tendencies will be fixed. is it too optimistic to hope for it today?

Played Cavs vs. Celtics this morning. Played Spurs vs. Blazers yesterday.

Maybe I have the only working rewind in the country.

It was a joke given the situation.

Now I can see why KDRE always asks people to quit calling each other out. Posts like this serve no purpose and anyone with a sense of humor would've seen that from my comment.

I'm observing that everytime someone has a legitimate complaint you exagerrate their complaint, and then mock them.

you've been doing it for years.

If you were indeed joking I apologize (not really), but we both know sarcasm is a mask for truth, and you cant get upset if someone calls it out.

edit: I also highly doubt the person/people you mock think you are joking.

The Rewind games for Oct. 28th should give a better example of the real deal. They have the correct DNA (for that game) and the rosters.

We're working hard to make these the norm.

weird time to be asking this, but what does DNA technically do and what changes daily?

lets say the lakers are facing the bulls and are able to get to the FT line and drive to the basket all night against this crap defense known as the bulls. So does their whole team dna reflect the past game or is there a law of averages yall are going with? For all we know the next laker game is against the celtics, where that tendency to drive may still be attached to that team when in reality they go to jumpshooting mode because of the stiff D.

tendencies are more than just what you like to do or prefer, its what the defense is giving you essentially.

Am I looking at dna tendencies all wrong here.

with that said, it doesnt really seem like "made fresh daily" in regards to DNA changes is realistic. I can see roster moves being reflected daily, but tendency changes unless a true pattern and trend comes out dont seem to need to have that change daily..

maybe thats just my interpretation that is wrong

How dare you!!?? If EA says we need tendencies changed daily then gosh darn that's how it needs to be!!
