I didn't play this game pre-patch, but i was prompted to dl update & i played(Noles) the cpu('Canes) last night... i had 7...count 'em 7 sacks...this by jumpin' the snap & audible blitzes
I had a blast!
We played in a down pour down in Miami, & i noticed the unis & field did not degrade at all...well some specs here & there...NUTHIN' like Madden tho.

OK, let's try this one more time:
I'm on 360, but I can't imagine that would be much different than PS3.
1. Fumbles. If anything, there doesn't seem to be enough fumbles, both sides, in the game. In 50 games, my average is 0.2 per game (1 in every five games) and the CPU's is 0.1 (1 in every 10). Not sure what you're doing to "spill the ball all the time.''
2. Not sure what you mean by glitchy player animations, bu I've seen nothing unusual in that respect.
3. Freezes. I experienced my first freeze last night, but it wasn't in game play. It happened when I tried to download a play now highlight that was oddly marked "Game 3'' instead of having the team names. Not sure why it was marked like that. I'll try again, and if it freezes again, I'll delete it.
4. WR catching. Not a problem whatsoever. I think my sliders for HUM are at 60 and CPU at 30. Yes, there's drops, as there should be. But the fact that me and the CPU are averaging 65 percent completion shows it's not an issue.
5. Bad rushing D. The Human rushing D was too good pre-patch, the fixed sliders took care of it. The rushing D can be as good or as bad as you like, human or CPU, depending on slider settings. What's so difficult to comprehend about that?
6. Pusuit. If you're talking about pursuit angles, yes, they're still bad, but nothing to get your panties in a bunch over.
7. Robo QB. I know others are still complaining about this, but it's not a problem for me after slider adjustments. I play on varsity, maybe that has something to do with it, but I'm getting a good variance. Occasionally, the CPU will hit like 20 of 26, other times just barely over 50 percent or even worse. That's with CPU accuracy and CPU WR catch at 30 or 35. I tried it with CPU acc. at 0 and the CPU couldn't hit the side of a barn. So I feel like I'm in control of how good I want the CPU to pass.
8. Field goals. I'm getting realistic percentages for me and CPU as both the accuracy and power sliders have a noticeable effect. No issue here.
9. Play clock. I noticed it goes from like 35-40 at the play call screen and then immediately down to 25 when you break the huddle. Not sure why, but is this really a problem? Is 25 seconds not enough time to get a play off?
Other issues include pass rush. I've improved this by lowering roughing the passer penalty slider to 5 (not sure, but I think that has some effect) and not blitzing as much, as the CPU gets rid of the ball fast when sensing a blitz. It's resulted in a couple of sacks per game on 6 min. quarters. One game I got five, but the average seems to be two. Maybe that's not enough, but I can live with it.
Haven't gotten into dynasty mode or recruiting or any of that, but I can confidently state this is the best version of NCAA I have played and I've played every one since 98. The fun factor is definitely back. Sometimes it's hard to define what makes a game fun, but you feel it in your gut as you keep wanting to play it again and again, and that's what this game delivers.
My biggest (only) complaints are what they removed from last-gen. It really ticks me off that in the third (or is it the fourth) iteration of this game on 360, that they still don't have all the stadiums (missing about 12-15), still don't have team-specific end zone art for bowl games, took out about 30 mascots from last year (damn you EA!), removed the fan cutscenes (loved the cornheads in Nebraska and Garorheads in Florida) and still don't have Division IAA (or whatever it's called) schools (it's stupid playing against Team Southeast and all that).
But I digress. In conclusion, your points about bad gameplay are basically invalid. In other words, you're all wet.

I'm using CDJ rosters, If you want them just eneter the name and download. I don't care for edits.
the schedules still rotate, its just the 2nd year its wrong. and the seasons after it build onto it. so year 3 is same conference teams as year 2, but it rotates for the 4th year.(this was how it was with the Big 12, not sure about the other conferences)
and the Out-of-conference schedules are always editable.

I was just curious as to which sliders you settled upon. Are you having any issues in your dynasty using those rosters?
