I'm pretty sure he's being facetious.

If he was being literal, I'm sure he would ask how so many things go un-noticed by individuals that test this game daily. And if that's not the case, then the developers are not responding to their inquiries.

Either way, something is amiss as most individuals here can find these issues very early on with the final build.

The patch is back with Sony now. We are hoping to get approval by the end of the day (~7PM Pacific) at which point I will push the patch over to the retail servers.

Again, this is what we are hoping for, no guarantees. I'll keep you all updated as I find out more.

It is possible, but I wouldn't say incredibly likely. I'm really hoping that if I do get word tonight, it's before I leave work, otherwise I'll have to be blinded out of my poker game for over an hour while I drive back in to push the patch to the retail servers...

This is where you slip them a couple grand each to ensure that you can push it to the server this evening.

Then, let us know the time you are going to do it and put patch 2 there by mistake (for 5 or 10 minutes) before correcting your error.

EDIT: On a side note, seeing you are a Georgia Force fan, any plans for another AFL game? [I know, off topic]

Damn, it's just a roster patch, there's rosters that work out their. Everyone should be more concerned about patch #2 as that one fixes gameplay issues. I can''t believe everyone is so uptight about this.

You have a 360...if it were reversed and the ps3 patch was out, but not the 360, I think you would understand

I'm not really that much of a Georgia Force fan - I've only seen 3 AFL games, none of which involved the Force. I picked the logo more as a symbolic reference. The first AFL game on PS2 was my first project at EA back when I was in QA and I picked the Force as my "favorite team" based on Ricky Parker's awesome intro videos.

agreed. I really could care less about this patch. If this game is even fixable via the 2nd patch, I'm not playing it nor starting a season/dynasty until it's playable on the field.

I just want to thank you guys (CDowns430 & OMT) for your many updates. I was harsh with my criticism earlier, but my frustration got the best of me. Hopefully we'll get the patch tonight or Monday at the latest, but at least with your updates, its not a total guessing game. THANKS GUYS!

Patch 2 yeah, I could care less about this one. I'm in my fourth season and am having fun with it with zero porblems. I could see how your pissed off, but this patch is not as critical as the seconded is going to be.
