NBA 2K9 First Look (Gamespot)

Gamespot has posted their first look at NBA 2K9.

	"The first thing that was apparent from the clip (and, to a lesser extent, the gameplay demonstration) was that signature player motions don�t just stop at shooting this year. Player-specific celebrations and motions will also make their appearance in NBA 2K9. From Kevin Garnett�s chest pump following a 3-point opportunity to Ray Allen�s unique windmill teardrop, 2K9 does a good job of making the motions identifiable to the player. This even includes more subtle motions such as Derek Fisher�s movement coming off a low screen or Kobe Bryant�s no-look pass."

They've really gotten to the point..both EA and Take-Two...where if you kinda cross your eyes you could mistake this for TV.

A still pic at that distance and resolution? It's obviously not the 2k8 we're playing, but I can't tell any difference aside from the obvious things, which have nothing to do with quality.

Way different, the textures are not so shiny, along with the jerseys.

No, other than the score box in the top middle of the screen, from that shot it looks like 2k8.

I'm sure we'll get better screens later, with some better close ups. And hopefully a video by friday!

Why are you guys even trying to see if this looks differently? Remember the Chris Paul pic that was released around this time last year?

It's just about pointless to treat anything as if it represents 2k9. The game isn't even finished yet.

Of course they are, but they just want info.

That said, anyone sitting there saying they see a big difference is lying through his teeth unless you're playing on a Sdtv

He basically said, he wants the experience to be awesome from start to finish. talked more about NHL 2k9.

you can tell that pic is 2k9, because of the score ticker. Yes, still very vague info from that gamespot interview.
