Yea I just noticed that. The demo is really good and I know that its going to be tweaked to be better than it is so I cant wait! I found no problems with it at all!
Adam thanks for everything bud!

well to start, lets just say that once the game hits the shelves, i will most likely never use lsu or ohio state again. I'm starting to get sick of the two teams personally and if it werent for the gameplay and my hunger for college football gaming i would not be playing it,
with that said, like the majority of the crowd, this game (through one day of an unfinished product) is much better than '08. part of the reason as a ps3 owner is the advancement to 60 fps. Big difference.
Next the running game. At first i had trouble getting anything going. And this was with arguably the best back in the country, Chris Wells. Like many pointed out, the speed burst mashing will not be rewarding. It took me about a full days worth of playing to finally establish a decent running game on varsity! Now i dont even hit speed burst unless i am in the clear. I have not had much success with the "shimmy" stick. Could someone with any success please give some tutorial? That would be great. I wanna get the controls down before the release drops. lol.
The passing game like many mentioned was fairly too effective, especially short range. My first deep pass i threw to Robiskie for a long TD. I began to wonder, but havent had much success to date. Some deep passes should have been completed but were dropped upon contact (a tactic i believe by EA to even out the big plays.) One problem i saw was on crossing patterns. When I would lead a receiver, sometimes i lead him too far and the pass looked as if it would fall incomplete, but instead the receiver would have an unrealistic speed burst and catch the ball. It looked as if he was skating in an attempt to get to the ball in which he did end up catching. Hopefully will get fixed.
On defense i dont have many comments about the defensive line play or secondary so much. the only thing i will say about the secondary is that it looks like i will be able to make some plays on the ball. Something i did not really have much success with last year due to the lack of responsiveness.
I always control a LB, usually the MLB. Both teams have studs in the middle. I thought that the gameplay as a LB was playable. At times i would dominate with Laurinaitis and other times he felt invisible. However like the secondary play, it feels much more playable compared to last year. My only gripe was in coverage with the LB when a RB would go out for a up and out. The reaction/acceleration of the LB seemed slow and the RB would pull away from my attempted coverage. Now i could see this against a slow LB, but this was against Laurinaitis who has speed attributes of a RB, not to mention a guy who is known for his cover skills. I liked in NCAA 06 where you could actually impact the passing game in coverage as a LB. Maybe that was a little overdone, but it seemed more responsive. I know im going off on a little tangent, but i hope you understand what im trying to say.
In conclusion I'm liking this game. Alot more than last year and i really did enjoy 08 for some time. Like another user said I dont think i could go back to 08 again because the difference is night and day. I hope this game does not disappoint.

Oh my gosh! This feels like a different game for me! The details are amazing.
Pros:
I laid a HUGE hit on the opposing WR and instead of just getting up, he started to get up but then stumbled back! AMAZING
I also love the control over the celebration
overall things look more natural this year
Cons:
I can't get a pass rush at all
CPU pass efficiency - do they miss at all?
mascot games seemed kind of gimmicky
Overall I L-O-V-E the demo and appreciate ya'lls hard work.

I'm still a little disappointed we don't have different QB passing animations. That is still really sloppy and they've managed to look past that aspect again.

how do i trigger celebrations besides the mascot one [ps3]?
Bobble catches and tipped interceptions are bloody amazing.

I like the feature when you get burned showing what play the opponent picked and getting a composure lift. What exactly does this do though? Boost stats temporarily?

Adam,
I'm one of the few that isn't impressed with the demo whatsoever. Now, I realized I asked this question in PM, and you responded the very next day, unlike the Madden guy who refuses to address this issue... but I have to ask again. Honestly, is the CPU AI improved whatsoever from the awful '08 title, or will the turnovers I've seen in the demo, still be there on the higher difficulty settings? The response I got in PM was positive, and I was counting down the day until the release, but then I played the demo - and I'm not liking it whatsoever. Now, I'm not judging the actual game based on the demo, so I need reassurance once again...... Was the CPU AI at all improved? I'm talking about CPU only... CPU throwing 4 picks per game (which happened in every demo game I played), CPU refusing to pass the ball deep (Not a single deep pass thrown by the CPU in any of the demo games I've played). You seem like an honest guy, and I really don't feel like wasting $120 on two games where I'll pick the CPU off 4 to 5 times per game again. Also, do the game play sliders mean anything at all this year, which would really help us fix the lack of CPU intelligence?
I feel the Madden guy is avoiding the question, though.. I'd be happy with even a ''No, the CPU stinks again this year'' answer, if it's going to save me a few $$$.
Thanks again.

Ints and fumbles aren't that common.
Its a game by game basis though. One game i picked off 4 and recovered a fumble. Others there are no turnovers watsoeva. Some games are 28-7. others are 7-0. well imo, i think its going to be a great game.

If Adam will give me a straight, honest answer, and assure me that some work was put into fixing this issue again, I'll forget I ever played the awful demo, and buy the game on July 15th. I need reassurance is all, that's how bad the demo came off as, to me, at least.
I'm 30 years old, I'm not senile yet - I know what I see.
All I gotta say is the demo is amazing I am so impressed, I cant get enough of this game the speed, gameplay, atmosphere is all fantastic lets go july 15 baby!!!!! Great job EA
I'm sure most will disagree with my opinion of the demo but I played it for the first time last night (PS3) and wasn't overly impressed. To me the gameplay feels a little fast and I didn't feel like I had a lot of control over my players. There were some nice new animations added and I can definitely see a lot of positives with this year's game just from the brief demo, but overall it didn't feel as solid to me as MLB and even College Hoops, and everyone knows they have their imperfections.
Actually I was rather disappointed, being a huge college football fan. I could have a different opinion once the actual game is out, but for now I can say that I could live with 08 for the PS2 and be remotely satisfied, even if there were no 09 for the PS3. In saying that, I will still pick up my copy when it's released and probably feel different once I can change the teams and level, but for me the demo was just so-so. Which that is something that can be expected from an 8 minute demo game because it is exactly what it says......a demo.

Has anyone else seen the onside kick glitch that I talked about earlier?
Also as far as the interceptions go I haven't seen them as an overly abundant problem. In four games I have seen 3 int's and no fumbles.

Has any noticed how the QB pump fakes? Looks like an odd animation to me.
