Played a game, and it's basically the same run of the mill engine. I noticed the game ran a little smoother, and WR routes weren't robotic perfection anymore, so it's a step in the right direction.

You must have some extreme speed DLing to get it at 15 mins time, lol.
I won my first game 10-3 against OSU. I think FGs are the same (difficulty wise), but the posts looked a LOT smaller. Like AFL or something.
I didn't really see the "godlike" QB anyway though. On 4th down, I brought 3 guys and dropped back 8, and the QB (I think Pryor) overthrew his target. Nothing ridiculous, yet.. I also didn't see the QB quick snapping like mentioned before.
On the flipside, I like the new "smooth" feeling (I think the animations look A LOT more crisp) and the graphics look really nice. I think it'll be worth it come July 15th IMHO.
Having a lot of fun with the demo. One thing I've noticed though is that my player glitches out a little whenever I try to cover the ball or switch my ball hand.

this game/demo would be awesome if they added some presentation (team intros, something). somehow without presentation, a college game such as this is really missing a critical element imo.

LOL, this install takes a freaking century. During the install, I downloaded the MGS thing and the Hail to the Chimp Demo, and the install still isn't complete. LOL
The bad:
pontiac drive summary on the kick - 1 play 0 yards (bug)
3 ints in 3 possessions (cpu threw)
3 players injured, including my starting qb, their starting kick returner, their starting qb (in the first half)
no line of scrimmage (I really hope this is an option)
backup qb threw a turnaround across his body strike to a player 30 yards up the field (stupid, he ran for a td too)
herbstreit said "With 4th down coming up..." when it was 2nd
really bad dropping back animation - gets stuck (it looks like he gets stuck in this animation and then throws it)
the team graphics behind the formation chart at the top make chart impossible to read
The good:
package is shown immediately
gameplay is fluid
tackling animations are finally up to date

Quick comparison.
The games look identical, move at the same speed, and if you didn't see the controller buttons on screen, no one could tell the difference. If that sets anyone's mind at ease.
Edit - I did notice something, there seems to be a little hiccup on the PS3 from playcall to line of scrimmage. Not nearly as bad as last year, but it's a slight hiccup.

72% almost there.should be complete by time nfl total access is finished.

did no one catch what I said back on page 21. Does that issue about this game bother anyone?

Ok, I have both versions up and playing them side by side.
The 360 version is slightly better looking, you'd have to have both up and going to notice though. I mean, SLIGHTLY. The PS3 version looks just a little bit blurrier. Looking at it closer, it's the colors, they are just brighter and more vibrant on the 360.
The speed is the same. Both feel identical. The stuttering I mentioned before is with the OL as they walk up to the line. It doesn't affect play.
This is only after a few mins with the PS3 version, but playing them side by side gives you a pretty fair look at the 2.
It's a great game on both systems, and as I said, if you saw either one sans the buttons, you could never tell the difference IMO.

CPU clock management seems to be pretty stupid. OSU completed a short pass play on 3rd and long with 50 seconds left in a tie game, yet they call timeout for no logical reason, stopping the clock for me before they punted. In a different game LSU had the ball on their own 40, about 50 seconds left until halftime with all 3 timeouts left, and they ran out the clock. Another game went into OT and LSU wins the toss. They chose to go on offense first, no one goes on offense first.
Presentation/atmosphere: Where is it? A handful of cutaways to some cheerleaders and a dancing mascot seem to be it. Winning a game on the last play in OT feels no differently than taking a knee. The players jog to the sideline and the game ends, no handshakes, no running onto the field, not even a stat summary. I really hope this is just a demo limitation. I had a fumble reviewed by the booth and no mention was ever made if it was overturned or not. Obviously you can figure it out by the result of the play, but there was no referee cutscene or anything. I also haven't seen a single penalty yet.
The passing icons are freaking huge. Are there any options to shrink them? There also doesn't seem to be any yardline markers on the play select screen. If the CPU has the ball 1st and goal it would be nice to know what yard the ball is on. Maybe I'm missing this somewhere.
