CPU clock management seems to be pretty stupid. OSU completed a short pass play on 3rd and long with 50 seconds left in a tie game, yet they call timeout for no logical reason, stopping the clock for me before they punted. In a different game LSU had the ball on their own 40, about 50 seconds left until halftime with all 3 timeouts left, and they ran out the clock. Another game went into OT and LSU wins the toss. They chose to go on offense first, no one goes on offense first.

Presentation/atmosphere: Where is it? A handful of cutaways to some cheerleaders and a dancing mascot seem to be it. Winning a game on the last play in OT feels no differently than taking a knee. The players jog to the sideline and the game ends, no handshakes, no running onto the field, not even a stat summary. I really hope this is just a demo limitation. I had a fumble reviewed by the booth and no mention was ever made if it was overturned or not. Obviously you can figure it out by the result of the play, but there was no referee cutscene or anything. I also haven't seen a single penalty yet.

The passing icons are freaking huge. Are there any options to shrink them? There also doesn't seem to be any yardline markers on the play select screen. If the CPU has the ball 1st and goal it would be nice to know what yard the ball is on. Maybe I'm missing this somewhere.

Is it possible to taunt when you are about to score a TD?

I dont understand the complaints of the lack of pressure on the CPU and the super human QBs. Its best to get pressure yourself by playing D line, and in doing so I have had zero problems. And the CPU isnt superhuman persay. Beckmen is simply a better QB than the LSU Qb and is doing nothing more than playing to his high overall rating. Is he good, yes, but super human? I dont think so. Playing as LSU I had no problem stopping beckmen.

Just played a sweet game VS nephew. I was OSU and of course he was LSU.
I scored to make it 7-0. He tied it and back and forth until we went to OT.

First possesion we both scored TD's

Second possesion we both scored TD's

Third possesion:
My nephew has to settle for a FG. I call time out to ice him...
The play goes to ground level and the heart beat starts.
Kick is up.........WIDE LEFT!

On my possesion I get to the 11 yard line and decide to kick FG to win it....
Time Out LSU

Same thing: The play goes to ground level and the heart beat starts

I can tell you it makes the tense moment 100 times more tense.
Kick up.... Starts left then slowly curves right...

GOOD! OSU WINS!!

Presentation will be the same in the complete version. I can't understand why they don't have a team doing the presentation aspect. It seems pretty odd at the beginning to just to show cutaway(s) in a stadium and nothing at the end.

I almost dread playing another game. Every time I see the CPU throw a pick, I get less and less interested in buying the game.
I've never read one positive thread from you about an EA football game. Have you ever considered that you simply don't like the series? Try out APF2K8 perhaps?
