ok, they're not THAT bad, but for next gen, yes, they are bad. Honestly, play a game of NHL 08 or The Show 08, the graphics blow them away. The stadiums, players, field, animations, EVERYTHING in The Show looks better than this game.

All of this looks great to me. I need my college ball fix!!!!!

one little thing i wish, and still hope makes it in, is the video screens, not showing you what your already seeing. Have the video screens showing a TV broadcast view. I think every sports game with bigscreens do this, i guess it must take too much power from the system to do this or else someone would have done it.

I am curious about one thing. On the features list, it talked about new post game presentation. Does that mean that they are gonna bring back pre-game presentation as well? I don't think I've seen anything mentioned about it. It would be sweet to see team-specific entrances such as the UT Vols running thru the "T"!

Same here. This is the thing I'm most excited about.
Then next comes online dynasty. Should be fun.

There better be team specific intros...(Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame etc.)

# 207 Pared @ 04/13/08 12:17 PM
You know what is sad? Is most of us would be happy if they just put back the intros that were there already.

So true. EA makes us football gamers look so pathetic. They deprive us so much we get excited for the smallest things, lol.

Yup. The one's that in old-gen were fine.

Honestly, everything in last gen was great about the game. It's baffling how they've got rid of so many of the bare essentials in the PS3 and 360 versions.

Honestly, this is the kind of pregame that I would like to see:

Pre-game analysis: doesn't have to be really in depth, but they could say something like:

"Ohio State has had problems against the pass this year, and they are going to have their hands full with this senior QB" Or just something where they look at the stats from the season or from a previous game. Then have a key player from each team and talk about them briefly. Then have the teams run out onto the field, the old entrances are fine, but it would be awesome if the bands were in there. Coin Toss with ref, have the captains come out onto the field, shake hands.

The first part would probably be the hardest to implement, with all of the potential posibilities that could present, and all the lines of commentary. But all of the stadium panning before the game now is really kind of dumb. I thought the first year they went Next-gen it was just to show off the stadiums, but then it came back.

Any word on increased roster size?
Currently you can't build too much depth due to the 70 spots rule.

with the online dynasty's what does that mean? does anybody have any links to look some of this up so i can see? sounds like a good idea if its what i think it is but there is no way in hell people are gonna be able to fill out that many teams!!

Man I really hope so. They had these in Madden in what 2004? I'm not a programmer by any stretch of the imagination, but how hard is it really to put that in?

Was 2004 the last time they had team specific entrances?
