Just wanted to mention while watching the first video that the pitcher/batter battles seem a lot better, and that's a credit to the guy behind the sticks (betterai, is it?). Watching the count add up for a change gives a better idea of what the AI's tendencies are.
Man, I really wanna see the Tampa Yankees at home.
A Yankees/Bisons video...how 'bout it? I too would like to see some minors footage. Still hoping and praying Dunn Tire Park makes it in the game or as DLC (and yes, this must be the millionth time I've said that).
Wow it amazes me how many people are going nuts just over a video of gameplay that is not final build. I don't mind everybody's opinion. In fact I like to read about them because it can only make the game better (dev's read the forum). But please at least wait until you try thedemo or full version. Yeah presentation things you can see and animation things we can see but for all we know this plays the best game of baseball to date. Or for all we know it doesn't and the pitching is too easy or too hard and the hitting is completley unrealistic. From watching the videos it doesn't look like either is the case. Let's have a little patience there is only one more week to go before we can play it and hopefully less (demo).
Is there a good amount of ground balls hit for outs or hits? I watched only the first video and there were alot of fly balls. Just wondering if if it seemed natural after watching the whole game. Thanks.
i was on the fence as far as which game to get, but these vids have made up my mind....no crowd enthusiasm, same bat sound, and the same types of home runs (either a bomb or barely making it over)...it is gonna be the show for me this year...sorry 2k

Thanks for playing! Don't forget your parting gifts.
I see 2k still uses the softball bats I'll tell ya, i'm really impressed w/ the sig styles...the Aramis Ramirez sig is scurry realistic. glad we'll have 2 great games this season. can't wait

You wanna see scurry realistic, check-out Jason Varitek's Sig Stance...

That's because it's just reinforcing an opinion they already had.
For me, the fact that they COMPLETELY took apart and re wrote the entire code for the batting interface is enough for me. Balls react to the bat realistically and you can see this in the swing animations. Is it perfect? no, but it looks darn good to me.
Little things bug me... For instance when an outfielder is fielding a fly ball their animation inexplicably goes into slow motion, then speed up at the last second to catch the ball... There's more but you get the idea. None are game killers for me.
