This team is definitely hard to judge. Because of under-performing parts, we made a lot of moves.
We are definitely younger; we had 4 1st Round Picks.
Our roster was too clogged up, so we sent Jonas Jerebko and rookie Terrence Ross to the D-League.
I have faith in this team, considering that we aren't injured. By the way, Ben Gordon and Brandon Bass are "on the block":
Ratings are still subject to poor chemistry.

Game 1 @ CHI
The Pistons eked out a 1 point victory! This is their first win on the season against the Bulls.
The Bulls got a lot of "empty minutes". Ronnie Brewer was scoreless in 17 minutes. CJ Watson was the same in 11.
The Pistons could have won by more! Michael Beasley was 2-14, but made up at the free theow line. Anthony Randolph was 4-12; Gerald Green was a terrible 1-14.
The game was won at the line. Who would thing that the Pistons could win on 17/68 FGs? Well, they won with 49/67 at the line, which could be better.
Game 2 @ CHI
Ben Gordon has returned! And, the Pistons won another 1 point game! Shooting was better, except for certain individuals. Will Bynum was 0/6.
Carlos Boozer only had 5 points in 29 minutes. On top of that, he was 1/6. Ronnie Brewer, Taj Gibson, and CJ Watson had 47 minutes between them, but only 4 points.
The Bulls' bench needs to be productive if they want to win.
Game 3 vs. CHI
The Pistons won with a greater margin. They only missed 2 at the line, and their FG % is up.
More minutes went to the more important guys for Chicago, so the bench saw less time. Jimmy Butler, a starter was the goat: 5 points in 32 minutes.
Not all the Bulls are maximizing effort. They are on the brink of elimination.
Game 4 vs. CHI
The Pistons didn't convert the sweep. There were a lot of poor shooting performances.
Brandon Knight was scoreless in 30 minutes! Dorell Wright was 1/7, Gerald Green 1/6...
Carlos Boozer had 30. Luol Deng returned from injury.
Game 5 @ CHI
There is some heavy breathing among the Piston faithful. Derrick Rose had 40 in the demolishing of the Pistons.
Game 6 vs. CHI
The Pistons choked again in a blowout loss. Derrick Rose had 33; Boozer had 27, and Hamilton had 20.
The Pistons need more shots to go up.
The Pistons were eliminated in Game 7.

The Pistons finished April weakly. They end the season with the 6th seed in the playoffs. They ended up 3rd in the division, a half game behind the Pacers. They could've been the 5th seed. They would've played Boston.
However, they will play the Bulls in the 1st round. That is depressing because the Bulls swept them in the regular season.
Brandon Knight was named to the All-Rookie 2nd Team.
Eastern Conference Playoff Matchups
(8) Charlotte @ (1) Miami
(5) Indiana @ (4) Boston
(6) DETROIT @ (3) Chicago
(7) Atlanta @ (2) Orlando

The Pistons went 9-7 in March, amid injuries.
Andrea Bargnani "broke his back". Coincidentally, he led the team in scoring. Maybe he carried them too much. Anyways, he will be out 6-8 weeks. If the Pistons hang in there and make the playoffs, then he will come back.
The division leading Bulls lost a star of their own, too. Luol Deng tore his meniscus. He will be lost for the same amount of time. We’ll see how each team copes.
Later in the month, Ben Gordon broke his hand. We don’t know what to think of this, yet. He has been underperforming so far.
We have a milestone to report. Michael Beasley registered his 5,000th point.
Lastly, with their win on March 31st, the Pistons clinched their first playoff berth since 2009.

The Pistons rebounded in February with a 11-3 record. They are 34-25 overall, good enough for 2nd in the division and 5th in the conference.
In addition to the previous deals, Terrico White was traded to the Rockets for a 2012 2nd Round Pick.
The day before the deadline, Ben Wallace was traded to the Thunder for Nazr Mohammed and a 1st Round Pick.
Ben Wallace is set to retire, and we are likely "renting" Mohammed. Anyways, 2 1st Round Picks are great to have.
Elsewhere in the league, there were some lucrative extensions:
Tim Duncan (SA): 3 years, $33.72 M
Eric Gordon (NO): 6 years, $74.05 M
JJ Hickson (POR): 5 years, $33.07 M
Kevin Garnett (BOS): 1 year, $10.07 M
Chris Kaman (NO): 6 years, $60.35 M

The Pistons started off the month with a blockbuster deal. Rodney Stuckey and Greg Monroe go to the Timberwolves. The Pistons get Anthony Randolph, Wesley Johnson, Michael Beasley and a 2013 1st Round Pick.
Later in the day, the Pistons traded Wesley Johnson and Jamario Moon to the Warriors for Gerald Green and Dorell Wright.
Johnson didn't seem to be a fit for the Pistons. Moon only averaged 2 PPG. Gerald Green is a promising youth; he averaged 12 PPG with the Warriors.

Injuries hurt the Pistons this month. Trainer Mike Abdenour will likely not return, per my request.
The Pistons went 6-9 this month and fell back to 3rd place. They are 23-22 on the year.
The Pistons rejected an offer from the Timberwolves, who wanted Ben Gordon and my 1st Round Pick for Martell Webster and JJ Barea. I am protective over this pick.
The Pistons acquired Tyler Honeycutt from the Kings for Travis Outlaw and next year's 2nd round pick. Outlaw was only averaging 3 PPG. Honeycutt is younger, with B potential.
Andrea Bargnani sprained his thumb on January 18th. He missed the rest of the month.

The Pistons finished December with mixed results. They started off hot, 5-0 on the month, then went 4-6. However, they now hold 2nd place in the division, 1.5 GB of Chicago.
The Pistons rejected an offer from the Magic. The proposed trade would have sent Tayshaun Prince and next year's 1st Round Pick to the Magic for Vince Carter and Dominique Jones. The only worry for me was giving up next year's 1st rounder. Carter is 33 as well.
The Pistons also rejected an offer from the Pacers. That would have sent Ben Gordon along with this year's 2nd Round Pick to the Pacers for Leandro Barbosa and bench-warming center Kyrylo Fesenko. No deal.
The Pistons also rejected the Lakers proposal of Ramon Sessions and Jordan Hill for Brandon Knight and Tayshaun Prince. Knight has too much promise in his future.
The Pistons did trade Damien Wilkins to the Bobcats for Jamario Moon. Moon is a defensive guru who is also athletic. The teams also swapped a lot of picks in the process. The Pistons are only left with the Bobcats 1st rounder in this year, and a 2nd rounder for next year.
Greg Monroe strained a quad. He won't be 100% for 2-4 weeks. He will still play, but Brandon Bass moves to the starting 5.

The Pistons have made strides as of late. They started off 0-6, but since then, they are 8-1. The month is over, and the team is 1 GB of the Bulls and Pacers.
Ben Wallace has announced that he will not re-sign with the team. He will retire at season's end. He may be trade bait at the deadline.
Greg Monroe isn't producing in the manner I expected. In 15 games, he is averaging 31 minutes, but only 5 points. We'll wait and see before doing anything.
Andrea Bargnani, the newest Piston leads the team in scoring, averaging just over 20 PPG. He twisted his ankle recently and is day-to-day.

I am revamping my Pistons franchise. I have decided to sim all games, rather than play. I want to truly test my ability as General Manager.
I won't post game-to-game stats until playoff time, but I'll still update.
We'll see how long it takes the title to come back to Detroit.

Game 66 vs. COL
Justin Verlander dominated the Rockies this evening. He only gave up 2 hits! One was an infield single; the other was a line drive single. Troy Tulowitzki was the only starter to not strike out!
Anyways, balls flew off the Tigers' bats with relative ease. They had 14 hits.
One of those hits were an Adam Jones inside-the-park home run. (He did get some help from Carlos Gonzalez.)
The Rockies fall to .500 with the loss, and the Tigers remain undefeated in the month of June.

Game 65 vs. COL
The game started off as if nothing was going right. The Tigers allowed a bunt single and an outfield error lead to a run.
However, the Tigers rallied with 4 in the 2nd. Ian Kinsler had one of his 2 sacrifice flies, and JJ Hardy got 2 of his 4 RBI in the 2nd.
Jordan Zimmermann got through 6 1/3 innings of 0 ER (1 R) ball. Only one hit was given up by the bullpen the rest of the way.
