Yeah, think of it more like a tool set that you can use to create your own custom experience.

Hey I just had a quick question. Does WWE 12 require an online pass for online play? What other post game enhancements will require money to be spent? Thanks in advance.

Yes, new copies include an Online Axxess pass for online play. There is also DLC available (things like wrestlers, alt attires, and the attribute customizer) that you can purchase a la carte or by purchasing the Fan Axxess pass.

The copy I have now I didn't get the rock in, so I would pre-order just to be safe. The only thing that came with mine was online Axess, and I purchased the fan axess.
