Lebron still almost won the Finals without his 2 best players in the team. It's not even close.

Will these individual attributes be by hall of fame stats alone or where each player is ranked at their position along with where they are in their career?

Re: An In-Depth Look at the Changes to the NBA 2K16 Ratings System

I just hope they follow the advanced stats and the numbers they have to distribute the stats realistically. Draw foul and committ foul tendencies did not match the real life numbers in 2k15 and this greatly affected the gameplay. The ability to draw fouls and play without fouling is huge in winning and losing games, and if 2k doesnt accurately rate the players then it makes the games unrealistic. In 2k15 there are tons of players who dont foul alot with high committ foul tendencies, and other players who foul alot with low committ foul tendencies. Hopefully, this is Beds way of saying 16 will be different. Beds is a smart guy so i am confident they have gotten this right this year. Good job 2k.

I know this is about ratings, but my favorite part of this is reading that they watched some raw footage of people playing on YouTube...identified some frustrations real time and resolved to fix it....

Maybe they were already doing this but I love hearing them saying it....that's how you stay in touch with the community...

To a point. Sometimes it leads to focusing too much on what vid makers "desire" and not the rest of the community. ( ie. after-basket celebration animations in 2k15).

No offense to Dennis Rodman, but Wilt Chamberlain by far the greatest rebounder ever. It's not even close. Dude could avg. 20+ rebounds a game in any time period.

I do like what they are doing though. This is why I buy 2k bball, even when they have down year or 2, it's because they actually care and try to fix stuff.

this again is Awesome 2k.
thanks for listening to the users of your product. alot of folks have always wanted ratings based on the entire history of the nba.
hopefully theyll have separate ratings for casual and sim settings.
as always, Im looking forward to this years release.

Could be....but in this case they obviously focused on the right things...can't picture Lefto's watching videos and taking away the fact that we need more cartwheels either way haha
