What's everyone's opinion on the crowd in the 1st inning? They go absolutely nuts for the 1st inning. Rest of the game they're fine. It's very annoying from the broadcast pitching view.
Do you guys think this was a design decision or a bug?

Agreed, it may be minor for most people, but it really hurts the immersion.

Agree, its like every game is a playoff game for the entire first inning, its bizarre.

It makes me long for the 2nd inning just to play in a nice calm atmosphere

If it's a design decision, it's been for a few years.

I can remember playing the demo for 11, and seeing the crowd go crazy in the first, even if the Rangers were the ones scoring runs. Drove me absolutely nuts back then.

I was hoping that this patch would fix the freezing issues I am having in franchise mode(in menus and mostly gameplay) and it looked like it did at first, but now I cant even play a full game without a freeze. I haven't played any games except franchise as 95% of my time in this game is with franchise so I will have to check that tomorrow.

Anyone know if maybe the hard drive is causing this? I have the PSN version so I assume the HDD is working pretty hard and I do have the original 80gb in there from years ago. I am not sure as no other game gives me freezing issues and have read on TSN that other people have been having the same problem.

Rebuild your database. It's worth a try.
