I don't know if it has been posted or not, so I am going to post my suggestion.

I want to be able to re-sign my players during the season! There is absolutely no reason that this is not ALREADY in the game. I have never understood why it wasn't there. Strangest thing is...it is such a simple fix.

While I would like it in....
Not really and "easy" fix....as the CPU would need an entire logic script written for it to
-know what players they want...
-know there future plans in regards to who they want...
-there deadline plan in regards to signings....
-who might be available during the off season in regards to in season signings....
-the budget constraints of all of the above.
etc...etc....

It wouldn't be good to just throw it in for the human player IMO.

Reason I have never asked for it, is I am always worried if it is added, good free agent players will never hit the market. I can see this be a touchy thing.

I'd like to see the GO/AO stat added for pitchers and BABIP added for hitters

After 100 plus games, I've concluded that there's not much difference (other than deilvery and pitch type) between pitchers this year...

I've tried All Star, Veteran and Rookie hitting and pitching with CPU control / consistancy as low as 1 and as high as 4, with strike frequency at 0 and:

EVERYBODY throws between 62-66 percent strikes, with a first pitch range of about 58-64...

D/F Control rated guys and above...they ALL end up with the same percentages...

And, no...I don't swing at more than 2-3 junk pitches all game or have an abnormal amount of foul balls...

Secondly, the CPU pitching is a little more clutch this year...they seem to get really effective when pitching out of a jam...the "meltdowns" have been VERY rare...

And, I'm sure the frequency of double plays has been well documented...

The more and more I get into my Franchise (currently well into my 4th season), the more I wish that the presentation of working trades and signing FA's was completely different. Both should have a lot of back and forth as well as compromise.

I'd even take 2K's (basketball) current system, where you can kind of see what the CPU is willing to give up for certain players.

No idea if this has been mentioned but the ability to "read" the type of pitch coming a la MVP 05. It's too difficult to work a count when everything looks like a fastball until the end.
