True rating editing was only added into franchise last year ( with a speach from josh looman saying how important it was to users )
However the ability to create or edit players b4 entering the mode has been in since the PS2 days indeed on the PS2 you could create players and delete them within the mode back in '02 maybe even b4 I can't remember.
The ability to customise rosters before starting and during career modes is absolutely a core function !

The Twitter feed is just a news feed. If you aren't controlling and editing all 32 teams, how else are you going to know what is going on?

Other than scores, stats and injuries there was no visibility into what was going on in the league in 12.

This is all due to the offline/online modes being combined. I've never tried the online features, so I'll really miss being able to add my players before starting the franchise.

The only thing that's worse than EA gimping franchise and taking control away from the user is the comments on here with people saying they are STILL going buy this and/or NCAA. THIS is why EA doesn't care, they know people are suckers.
