An even cooler thing with collision awareness: Two outfielders are pursuing a pop up, they both are aware they are near each other and both shy away at the last second with the ball dropping in for a hit! Now THAT would be neat to see.

No, they will get out of the way so they don't collide with each other

Thats good enough for me

So we should not see any players going though each other anymore like they are ghost?

Re: MLB 12 The Show Preview - Pulse Pitching, Zone Analog Batting, Collision Awarenes

None of the previews have talked about the Presentation And Commentary yet.

And I have a feeling thats because Sony wants to save the best for last.

Presentation And Commentary new features and improvments!!

But man I am loving everything else that has been talked about so far!

the pulse pitching does sound intriguing as does the new free agent signing thing.
hope its not the ebay style bidding thing.

never got into the analog pitching as i didn't get 11 but if 12 hops aboard my ps3, I might skip that all together and go pulse.

Not really :-) its a cross between Classic and Meter pitching.

I kinda get that vibe too seeing how it has been omitted from the previews

I can't wait to see collision detection and the new tag animations at the plate

Most of the presentation and commentary gets added late in the process. Even when we have been to SCEA in January some of the elements were not in. So it is really hard to comment on this type stuff because they are probably not seeing much of the new planned for the game.

Is this system really as great as it sounds where if you manually could have two people run into eachother they physically could not go through each other?
