stunned he didn't mention anything about the presentation or commentary or the game having a new overall look in terms of menus/franchise mode interface.
those are the things that wil get me to pick it up.
all 3 need to be improved for me.

so far it looks like two have been touched upon.
i don't think i can dive into that franchise mode with the menus as is, and without any sort of headline or news section.
i feel like i am playing in a vacuum.

That's what I got from reading the article as well. The more options... well, you know the rest.

I think I'm in love... like seriously, I already loved MLB 11, but there were a few things I thought could have used improvements, so far every single one of those things seems to be addressed in MLB 12. Zone Analog? Hit Variety? New Fielding animations? It's not even fair to other video game companies that aren't staffed with mind readers.

Now I am officially excited.

Full Move control
Zone analog hitting
New animations
New ball physics
New GM logic
collision detections
New animations

They are only a few features from perfection
-new pitching system that will make pitch counts and walks accurate
-signature swings and follow through.
-The NBA2K ability of hopin in and playing the current season
-pitchers looking over at baserunners like in 2k3(i think it was 2K3)

I do wish they would try my idea of using the trigger button for swings (hold to load release to swing. Hold again to check

Yessssssssss
I'm so pumped for this game right now.
The Move features sounds interesting but I don't plan on purchasing the Move just for this game. And witht the Vita, once I see some screenshots to see what the game looks like on that screen and that might determine if I purchase the Vita or not. Because I think it's pretty cool that I could play my RTTS while sitting in Study Hall or during my Lunch period. And then coming home to play my franchise on the big screen. Sounds like a good system, but that all depends on how the game looks and plays.
The Pulse Pitching sounds good but I'm a big fan of the Analog Pitching because I'm pretty good at it so I think I'll give Pulse a shot but at the end of the day, I'll be back using the stick. This Zone Analog Batting sounds so hard! I couldn't even push the stick up to the left/right to hit the inside/outside pitch. I don't know how I'm going to be able to point the left stick to the left and the right stick up.
The Collision Awareness sounds amazing. It always bothered me when I see these poorly done animations on Double Play and plays at the plate. But now, I am anxious to see what outfield collisions and double play take out slides are going to look like.
