Re: NBA 2K12 Player Ratings Revealed, Including All Free Agents

can someone please post some consistency ratings for kobe, lebron and some other star players. I actually think consistency plays a bigger role than ppl think because it ties in with the players ability to break out of a bad shooting night so im guessing kobes is higher than lebrons on the count of kobe can break himself out of a bad shooting night more than lebron but lebron can score a lot of points and be on fire in a whole game. but dont get me wrong i do think some ratings are just crazy tho like that dirk 99 mid range even tho it seems right it aint, but I dont think this ratings guy can be that stupid right...............

The mid rating is a base stat that gets affected by shoot in traffic, shoot off dribble and offensive awareness right? So a spot up shooter 77 (Ibaka) with defensive pressure becomes a what 60?(just throwing #'s out there) But Kobe's 78 shouldn't drop as drastically with defensive pressure. Ibaka cannot and will not shoot well off the bounce, Kobe should be able to maintain a similar % even on the move. Something to think about....

The only thing that seems really off to me so far is the mid range ratings. Why the hell is Ersan Ilyasova a 94 mid range? I understand he's probably fairly consistent shooting his wide open set mid range J's set up by Jennings, but it's no excuse to give him a legendary mid range rating.

Also:
Joey Graham - 70
DeMar DeRozan - 69

DeMar was better in his rookie year than Joey has been throughout his entire career, and that includes on the defensive end. Come on! Joey's handles make DeMar look like Pistol Pete.

Lebron has higher mid range and 3pt rating than Kobe, that truly made me LOL. 2k either don't know much about basketball or need a better rating system. Kobe has one of the best mid-range in the game.......

Re: NBA 2K12 Player Ratings Revealed, Including All Free Agents

actually I dont think kobe shoots that well he just shoots alot so thats y i wuz asking someone to post the consistency ratings because if his midrange is 78 or what ever his consistency should be at least a 99 or sum and lebron should be between 75-80. posting the shot in traffic and off dribble wouldnt hurt either. aside from that ppl must not understand what im saying have ppl seen steve nash in game last year, dudes med range shot wus at 90 and his consistency was at like 90 or 95 but he couldnt shoot as good as u would think and ray was a 88 and terry and they still didnt shoot as well as u would think so is there anybody on here who understands wat im SAYIN cuz.......never mind somebody just post the consistency, shots in traffic, and off dribble fa kobe, lebron, and dirk please lol

all im saying is to represent the stats right if a guy doesnt take that many shots but does make shots especially open shots when hes called upon..........but theres noway a guy like matt carrol could dominate if his consistency rating is at 50 even if he has a 93 shot rating try doin it in nba 2k11 he ll make as few as hes suppose to but dominate nooooooo. thas y im asking for the consistency rating for these guys.

I'm not really positive what your point is, but Steve Nash is straight up nasty in 2k11 if you have the timing on his shot down. Pretty much any space at all at any spot on the floor is a swish with him if you time it right.
