I along with alot of other South Floridians would go to more Marlins games if it wasn't so damn hot. Baseball season in Florida is brutal weather wise. It's either a monsoon or hotter than a hooker in church. Once they move into their new stadium and the Fins get Joe Robbie/Pro Player/Dolphin/Landshark Stadium to themselves, I'll be going to Marlins games whenever I'm back in town.

Not to mention that when the Marlins do win the World Series they completely gut the roster. I am a Marlins fan and while they do a really good job of getting great talent for proven players it kinda brings a tear to my eye.

Orlando would be worse than Jacksonville. Orlando is a horrible sports town, they will try to tell you differently, but they are full of transplants / bandwagon fans. Add to it that most of the true fans are all Dolphins and Bucs fans. Orlando is the Jags secondary market and they hate them for that. The CBS station actually advertise against the Jags and make apologies on the air for having to show the games. There is a loop hole and they don't have to show the home games, only the away games have to be shown, so they show Dolphins games during home Jags games.

Dan Snyder wouldn't have to do anything.

Northern Virginia is Washington. The rest of Virginia couldn't support a AAA team let alone a real sports franchise.

That'd be like suggesting a team 15 minutes outside of Green Bay.

This whole thread is stupid. I'm tired of hearing about JAX moving to LA.

What about Virginia Beach? I understand that's reasonably close, but I figure with it being the 42nd largest city in America that a reasonable following could arise from that.

But it is brand-new. I've heard of the Chargers even moving out here to Vegas. Though that will almost never happen, I couldn't see them moving back to LA, either. What's the incentive? You don't want to re-hash with team movement.

I think the reason the Raiders got away with it in Oakland is because that's who they are. The OAKLAND Raiders. People seem to tend to connect the Chargers with San Diego. Maybe it's just me.
