I have been more open and influenced by the actual position of each sides more then probably anybody here. I think I may be the only person who changed his position, but I'm the one with clear cut motives. Lol that's hilarious.
You have been entrenched in your position from the beginning, I have yet to see where you have shown being open for any of these debates. You keep beating this dead horse, but of course, you know, that horse can die anymore, it's already dead.

We're supposed to be brothers.

On another note:
Woj leaked the names of some of the players on the call.

@24 I've admittedly beaten a few as of late myself. LOL.

What does this have to do with fairness

Do you remember the shorten the season topic

That basically destroyed the 1st CBA sticky we had... thats why we're talking about it in this new one... now he continues to do the same thing, regardless of facts or not

Thats why I said its borderline ridiculous, and I didnt even know about the NFL thread

You cant be one of the people who "wants pro hoops back" if you want a flex or hard cap. You know as much as anyone else that the union would refuse to agree to that system and it would leave us with no 2011-2012 season.

Ever since I've been a part of this thread I've seen you argue that the players are the ones making all the concessions and that the owners should give something. You also argued that the owners falling back from a their hard cap demand wasnt a concession because they never had that system before. But now you are stating that you are in favor of a hard or flex cap.

My question is how can you have it both ways? The BRI % was going to have to drop in order to guarantee profitability. A hard cap would force changes to guaranteed contracts, would keep the pay ceiling in place, would force a lowering of the MLE and would force the need for an amnesty clause.

The system you are arguing for makes it impossible for the owners to make any concessions.

I dont think thats true. I for one was very pro flex/hard cap early on but I've come around to the current luxury cap proposal. I was also angry at the owners for their take it or leave it BRI demand a few weeks ago. I'm just less angry because the players strategy placed them in this position.

Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion

You guys really should lay off Throne. I saw the whole shorten the season fiasco too and that was frustrating as hell, but holding him to that here isn't really needed. I don't think he's trolling and there's a lot of merit to what he's been saying in here cause I've seen it too. The players have been killed in here and had pretty much this entire thing shoved in their laps from the jump. Whenever he's asked why guys are laying it all on the players and just ripping them to shreds on EVERY single thing they've said or done through this for pages at a time on one comment there's been some logical responses and a lot of responses of why he's so butt hurt about the players getting ripped or claims that people have laid into both sides equally when that really wasn't the case and even comments like bkrich's (nothing personal) about no one being anti-player when CLEARLY we have anti-player sentiment in here.

At the end of the day, none of that crap matters cause every single person in here with the exception maybe of Matrix just wants basketball and that should be the end of it. We shouldn't be in here attacking each other over nothing but instead breaking down a regular season that should have tipped off on Tuesday but because of two sides of clowns we're doing this.
