Bk, I don't know what these dummies are willing to sacrifice...but decertification isn't necessarily a hail mary...I wouldn't doubt it moves the owners of 50 this weekend.
Yeah I just don't have much feel how it will play out. Players seem to be in disarray. I wonder if they could pass a de-cert vote amongst themselves.

When the players came into this asking for a larger share of the BRI I called them out. When the owners shifted into muscling the players I've called them out. When the league walk out and said 50-50 or nothing I called them out. When the union walked out at 52% I called them out. My opinion os based on the info. So how is it I'm the one with an agenda?
Your motivation is clear in just about every thread you post in. I'll leave it at that.

Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion

I know we all want pro hoops back and most of us ASAP, but I can't ignore what I think is right or wrong just because it will lead to the easiest result I want. I was pro-owners with their original system demands. I hope they get a flex cap when all this is donethe and said even though it's not on the table now. But I can't give a pass to the owners if they came into these labor talks looking for a pound of flesh instead of getting a deal done.

I want to know why you kept acting butt hurt because you think people arent siding with players, then you yourself playing the victim role because "you're in the minority"

Like I said to all of your questions, they've been answered time and again... Aaron's answers alone would probably cover 2 pages by itself and you continue to say the exact same thing over and over and over

That's why Matrix called it trolling

I just stopped talking to you about it because I've seen you do this before with the whole shorten the season thing... no matter what answer you get you're going to keep going on anyway

Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion

I don't think the Throne is trolling at all. He just doesn't see us talking about the owners like we do the players, so it seems like we're pro-owners.

The truth is the only side being taken is the side of common sense. The owners DO hold 99% of the cards (whether you believe it or not man). With that being said, the players will have to cave if they want to get back to playing basketball. Is it fair? Probably not, but that's life and there's nothing that can be done about it. Nothing will move forward until that fact is accepted.

I could say this about any person who ever posted a comment on any blog/site anywhere ever.

I have been more open and influenced by the actual position of each sides more then probably anybody here. I think I may be the only person who changed his position, but I'm the one with clear cut motives. Lol that's hilarious.

Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion

Throne, my comment about your posts being borderline trolling is that for months and months now, you've been deliberately obtuse or simply in denial (or something, who knows) about literally every single thing. We've explained several, several times what the issues at hand are and you either refuse to accept the facts or you're playing dumb or God knows what at this point.

And it's not just in this thread either, it's a pattern with you. Look at the Johnson v. Johnson thread in the NFL forum a few weeks back. What you see as "persecution" because you "hold a minority view" is people getting frustrated because of the way you conduct your arguments and present yourself in them.

You either need to be more understanding or, I don't know what. If you're genuinely confused or whatever about all of this, and it just comes off as you being deliberately obtuse, then that's not a very good thing.

And I'm definitely anti-player and often times anti-entire league at this point. Not sure we need to sugarcoat that. Me being anti-player is their fault and their blind homers' fault. But that doesn't mean I absolve the NBA owners. Anybody who's anyone knows exactly how much I loathe Stern, Robert Sarver, Jerry Buss, and any other pieces of crap. If it were up to me, bad things would happen to them. But people hold the players in contempt because they ARE at fault for this at this point. And anybody who isn't...I don't even know...can see that.

Well I don't think its trolling either, but if you just wanted to letter of the law of the TOS he could make a case, but that would be extremely far fetched for one comment and would likely be reversed

Anyhow, we already see without saying who holds the cards.

EDIT: Matrix's reasoning is similar to what I said a post ago about this happening before
