Re: Street Fighter V

One thing is for sure: Chun is even better than i thought.

She's my second char (she and Bison), and the more i play Chun, the more i like her. She's not the unstoppable monster she was in Third Strike, but she's almost there.

It's funny how no one uses her diagonal + HK, something that was a killer in Third Strike and even SF4

Re: Street Fighter V

With all those resets, safes and high damage, expect a nerf on Mika (also valid for Nash and Cammy).

Capcom has said that they won't be releasing any balance patches for SFV until the Pro Tour is over. So these characters aren't going to change for a while.

Time to retire from ranked lmao. Seriously though, it's been quite the process to make it here. Couldn't let Razor leave me behind.
Now is the time to rank up while all the new post-EVO players are flooding the online population. It's like going to the gym the day after New Years and seeing a mob of overweight/underweight people.

I was able to go from 200 LP to 800 LP tonight with Balrog, blowing out most of the people who were close to my level, but still getting owned by a couple of players who were a thousand-plus LP above me.

This is the only close match I had during tonight's session, and I would have lost if the other guy was smart enough to let Balrog's full 5-hit vtrigger turn punch sequence finish before he tried to counter hit me:

People still aren't used to facing Balrog online, it seems. I frequently can get away with a bunch of unsafe stuff that is easily punishable on block, or catch people by surprise with moves like the turn punch and the gigaton blow that have invincibility frames.

Re: Street Fighter V

Just looked at Razor's profile and saw that neither of us has been in ranked again since hitting silver lmao. I'm probably gonna dip my feet back in there soon, but I've mostly been rocking Battle Lounges lately.

My PSN Plus runs out next week (and I'm not renewing it right now because i will have to spend a lot of money on other things), and I've been trying to finish Hard Survival (with no luck sadly).

I need to go back to ranked but i can't find a match since last Wednesday. Sometimes i find a match on casual, but I'm not even trying to play casual. I just set fight request to casual while playing survival.

Re: Street Fighter V

Let it never be said that I'm not a hard worker lol. Only ranked matches count towards this, otherwise I would've hit it a while ago.

And speaking of ranked, I've been playing again recently. I keep going back and forth between Silver and Ultra Bronze. I suppose that's my sweet spot until I improve.
