Re: Matt10's Heisman Sliders (PS3)

I like almost all of these slider settings. One thing I've noticed is INTs are too low causing everyone in the secondary to have brick hands. I think this is too low for hum and ai. Also, the CPU fg power is too high and the hum fg accuracy is way too low at 0. Anything beyond an extra point curves almost 90 degrees mid flight. Other than that I think they're right on. Good job Matt.

Re: Matt10's Heisman Sliders (PS3)

Played my second game with the original sliders on the first page & it was another great one! I was Washington & beat Stanford 31-28 after being down 7-3 @ the half. They ran 58 plays & I ran 61...perfect. the stats all look great. Stanford fumbled 3 times in the second half which gave me the chance to win and I finally started moving the chains on offense. Only noticeable issue was the kicking game...One missed PAT by them( didn't matter because it was a roughing the kicker call) and a missed PAT by me, which is probably my fault. Other than that, another great game. I see that has been changed though so i will try the updated slider on the FG accuracy. I had a few dropped balls but I feel like thats part of the game. I'll give another update on my next game. I played with two even teams here & it worked out that way. Locker from Wash is a stud!

Re: Matt10's Heisman Sliders (PS3)

Here is my season Matt with 6 minutes for quarter (I know you don't like that):

(Rank was at the time I played them)Rank at the end of the season

@ Tennessee W 37-11
(#10)#24 Washington W 38-0
(#23)#23 LSU W 30-22
@ Miami-Ohio W 38-26 (rival game which was tied at half 14-14)
@ USF W 55-14
Louisville W 45-19
Connecticut W 45-0
@ Syracuse W 35-14 (was down 14-0 to start the game)
(#22) @ Notre Dame W 34-21 (again started down 14-0)
@ #22 Rutgers W 35-34 (Down by 6 with 42 seconds left)
@ (#9) #8 Pittsburgh W 35-7 (shutout but fumble on 15 trying to R.O.C.)
West Virginia W 31-0
N.C. (#1) #4 Alabama W 23-20 (first A+ team I played against)

Collaros was injured for majority of the year. Played in the two games. If you can't tell when he came back was against Pittsburgh. Also my backup quarterback Anderson was injuried a couple of games as well so my third string had to come in. Those games were Syracuse-Rutgers in which I actually had to grind out wins.

Pead left team to NFL last year so it was Williams who got the start. He missed 3 games and still ended up with 1,316 yards (#11 in NCAA) while Sperry from Navy was first with 1,856. Had my first 1,000 yard receiver (despite playing on AA last year) with Woodard with 1,207 yards. MLB Delisi second straight year lead NCAA in tackles, with 74 this year. Also led team in sacks with 9. Battle lead the team with picks with 4.

Re: Matt10's Heisman Sliders (PS3)

My kicking game was horrid year as I was just 10-16 and 57/62 for XP's. Accuracy might be a little too low, but then again it is a walk-on freshman so I guess that would be about right.

Bamaboy said the interceptions were too low for brick hands. I only had 9 INT's all year, but honestly I think anything higher (maybe just bump it up one) is good since there was plenty of times I could have picked off passes. I did force 18 fumbles on the year, with recovering half (9) of them. From all the turnovers I did have 5 back for score.

Between 3 QB's I was 186/364 for 3,379 yards. Had 34 TD's and 16 INT's (9 were by my backup and 4 were by my starter). I think you could lower accuracy some at least by 10 or so. I would say about 75-100 of the incomplete passes were just throw away on my end. Only had 42 drop passes which doesn't seem a lot, but did come at very painful times though. Either they were wide open for a score or for a critical third down. Hardly was it from a defender jarring the ball lose (maybe a fourth of the time or if there was a defender near.)

Running my starting halfback Williams had a 6.5 average and 18 TD's on 200 carries. Backup who is slower, but not really a bruiser halfback had a 7.1 average and 5 TD's on just 17 carries. For someone who never has over 1,000 yard rusher I would say that the running game for human needs to be down, but it was fun to have a rusher over 1,000 yards. Starting halfback average 100 yards a game and while he only had 14 break tackles (about right for a small speed back) at least it seemed once a game where he would break a 50 yard run.

Re: Matt10's Heisman Sliders (PS3)

Cincy not to be rude but Cinncinnati going undefeated this coming year isnt gonna happen so you need to make a few more tweeks on the sliders so it makes it even harder! These are a good set i guess our skill levels are alot different an you is alot better than mine cause i took Arkansas an went 8-4 an won the cotton bowl. A good set of sliders isnt good becaue you win 12 games in a row a good set is one that makes you lose when you have bad games! if your down to your 3rd sting qb you shouldnt be putting up 35 a game even with arkansas i lost mallett for 2 games against Texas A&M an Alabama i had a total of 431 yards combined for those 2 games an while he was there that was my average per game an my back up is an 83 overall a huge decline only scored 17 total an was averaging 29 so you need to make the D alot hard an the O for the computer alot more!!! Just my thoughts! I tweeked my sliders to get it harder still score points just give up alot. Arkansas D is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!! Good Luck!!
