NBA 2K16 PC Stuttering Collection Thread

I5-3550P Cpu @ 3.10 GHz (4cpu)

Is my pc to weak to run this game or it is a matter of optimization ? I used to run nba 2k15 with everything on high,except textures ( medium ) but this one doesn't seem to work that well.I think I tried everything.I get 60fps,but they drop when they get to my basket,and if I want to get 60 fps for the whole time,the games is now playable (no crowd,etc).What should the details be with this specs : texture,crowd,etc ?

Im in the same boat as you but with a 7660G. Hopefully we can find something to smooth it out. The lag at the basket is the worst.

When you guys say lag at the basket do you mean frame drops around the hoop/baseline/while inbounding? Because I have that too, I can get my game running fine otherwise running low enough settings but I still get frame drops around that part of the court...

Yeah and sometimes the commentary fizzles out a little.

how do you test the frame rate. didnt notice this in the video settings

Hmm. This part I'm unfamiliar with (unless you mean completely cutting out).

No benchmark included, I just keep a frame rate counter on while playing. This game is pretty obvious to tell whenever it deviates from 60 though.

Firstly, I don't think the patch was performance related. But for me, this sort of inconsistency happens because it seems some courts are harder on the frame rate than others, and I also find that games I play immediately after a system reboot (perhaps game quit and restart too, haven't really checked that) are smoother too.
