NBA 2K16 PC Stuttering Collection Thread

For those that are having issues with framerate and severe stuttering, Leftos is collecting data to pass on back to the 2K team to help address the problem. From the man himself:

Having stutters / fps drop down to 45 here on Windows 10 build 10547.

Game also randomly goes in windowed mode and doesn't seem to like alt-tabbing. I have to restart the game or change my resolution, otherwise my game will have a black bar at the bottom and will eventually crash.

It could just be that 2K16 doesn't like my build of Windows 10. I'm having really bad first impressions of this game...This is why 2K needs a demo or a beta...

Stuck at around 30 fps myself, after ensuring my Nvidia graphics (k2100m) are turned on, lowering antialias/supersample, trying different texture/player/reflection details, etc.

This is my first post here on OperationSports, I am usually a forum reader instead of a forum poster, but I would like to contribute to help find a solution. I can't however find how to upload my zip file to the forum. Could somebody point me in the right direction?

I'll provide the info when I get home, but I'm just glad I'm not the only one! I ran 2k15 fine and I was scared that I needed to do some big upgrades. Thanks leftos for checking up immediately

The crowd is the cause of the sttutering. If I play with no crowd I can get constant 60fps with everything on high. If I put crowd even in low it will go down sometimes to 54 and it causes all the stuttering.

I was able to really help my stuttering and performance issues by changing it to Fullscreen Windowed and turning off all vsync options. I use Rivatuner and nVidia inspector to lock it at 60.

But you can see that the game performance is all over the place. I monitor my GPU usage with rivatuner and it fluctuates a lot from 110% to 70%, even with a steady amount of action happening. More optimization needs to be done.

changing it to window mode and setting antialize to "1" solve the problem for me. runs much smoother
