NBA 2K14 Wishlist Thread

Only thing i would like is to option to put my player up to 85 or 79 or 99. Don't have time to keep starting over when there is a big trade or when I want to play another position. I dont play online so why not have that option.

let's just end this conversation right here you obviously can't make five in a row even if you wide open. Parker makes that floater over the right of defenders in the league CONSISTENTLY. You know you can't back up your talk by making 5 straight on hof even if your side open which is why your trying to talk me down to 3

No, I was asking you if I only get one chance to make five.

Say I make four and miss the next. Do I get a do-over?

A do over on wide open shots? Go to practice mode get all the do overs you ant then come see me.

my 2k14 wishlist.. GAMEPLAY

1. inside defense
2. off/def rebounding
3. fastbreak passing accuracy
4. blocking
5. dunk tendency
6. CHARGING
7. realistic player's face, signature shot
8. auto-FLOATER shot (timing like a jumpshot)
9. LOWER lay-up accuracy
10. REALISTIC GAMEPLAY

If 2K can just make association realistic I'll be happy.

- ESPN Trade Machine type system for trade AI

- Exceptions, amnesties, buyouts, etc

- Trade demands from disgruntled stars

- Better free agency system with ratings for Loyalty, Play for Winner and Greed

- Teams should also have market size status applied to them (Large for LA, NY, Small for MIL, CHA)

- Your Board of Directors should provide you with objectives for the season

- Revenue should be more important: ticket prices, parking, concession, sponsorships, tv, etc

- Based on revenue ownership may ask for certain things (e.g. if you're not making a lot they might demand that you stay under the tax like an OKC or IND)

- Bring back the D-League. It's a good way to keep young players' morale up on a contender by letting them get minutes. Although you should be punished for sending a lottery pick down (ie. if you sent Oladipo down he'd be annoyed)

- Ability to hire assistant coaches as head coaches

- Draft Combine should make an appearance (Sprint Times, Bench Press, Vertical, Wingspan, etc), also a scrimmage to help evaluate how guys play.

- Summer League should be in the game. You should be able to sign FAs/d-leaguers to join your team and also send your own guys. A legit tournament like they had irl would be great.

- Potentials also need to be done differently. Not every young prospect should take massive leaps. Guys should progress or regress based on performance and training. I think adding a rating like "work rate" could determine a players' ability to maximize their pot with their work ethic. A guy like Cousins would have high potential but a low work rate, resulting in less improvement. Whereas another guy might be able to make up for average potential with a high work rate.

- This isn't only for association, but the ratings system needs to be fixed. You can't just have a 3PT rating. We need ratings for the corner 3, 45 degrees 3, and straight on 3. A guy like Kawhi Leonard strokes from the corner but can't shoot the 3 worth a damn from anywhere else. Also I'd like to see wingspan be incorporated into player attributes.
