They said there will be generics and the will be editable. Just an FYI, part of the deal was 2k doesn't have the time or money to track down every player from the teams. So they focused on the main core people.

Well If your creating Kareem. I believe that in the late 80's his rating would have been from high 80's in 1985 to low 80's by 1988 and into the 70's for his last two seasons.

At least 95% of the classic team starters are included. I'll trust that someone out there will be able to fill out the remainder of these rosters on 2KShare with excellent precision.

Thanks. And good point. It probably would have been a double pain to find Jack Haley, Bobby Hansen, and Steve Scheffler; not to mention fallen pros like Kevin Duckworth and Bison Dele (Brian Williams).

I swear I saw Kevin Duckworth in the back of a screenshot though. It must have been a generic.

I don't have the time or money either but apparently I've got a leg up on a multi-million dollar company and franchise.

Not even mentioning the fact that "you" a regular guy that does not even work for 2ksports or anything to do with basketball video games in the first place, does not have to pay people for their likeness and to have them in video games.

Yes, I am no basketball guru like some of the people on here. I just think he was special that's all. I dislike Kobe as a person, but I guess I just don't understand how Lebron can be rated the same as him. Also Wade too, and I really like Wade, but I just think they should be like 95 - 96. That's just my humble opinion. Again I am not trying to state they aren't talented, it's just an opinion.

I think he was referring to acquiring each players' individual rights for usage of their likenesses on their respective classic teams. Unless, is that what you were talking about too? Maybe I shouldn't speak for someone else. I can just see it being tough to locate, convince, and pay 8-12 players from 18 different classic teams. I'd imagine that could get costly at some point.

They can afford to pay Dave Corzine but not John Salley? Come on.

How much do you want to bet Jacque Vaughn is sitting in the Free Agents list but won't be on the 98 Jazz? This ain't about "money".
